Excellent storage bins

These are sturdy, seal well, and are durable -- we've had other LocknLocks for many years, and they haven't failed. If you need a tight seal, these do it.

Great for cookies!

Bought these for transporting cookies to my parents... its tricky to determine a rough idea of volume from the photo so I hope this helps someone! The 88 oz comfortably holds 24 cookies (4 layers of 6 cookies) and the 54 oz holds at least 12- if not 18. Airtight and super durable, we love these!

Meat and cheese drawer separator

Our particular meat drawer in our fridge is extraordinarily deep and the meats and cheeses get lost. We bought these to separate each category and let “extras” like pepperoni go between the two. Nice and clear and easy to see.

Perfect Size for Travel and whatever else

Love this container. I use it for my cosmetics, face creams, etc., and just throw the cover on when I travel. Keeps everything in place, protects my things from getting crushed and minimizes mess in the event of an unintentional explosion of something like my face cream (from pressure issues during a flight). Perfect size - long and deep - that holds everything with room to spare. Is a wonderful tool for traveling as it is easy to move around, keeps my stuff together and compact in the bathroom. I can close it up and stack stuff on it when I leave the room, so it's not all over the counter when the maid comes to clean the room. As a matter of fact, I am probably going to buy another one for my hair brushes and accessories, again, to keep them contained and together and also to minimize the amount of space used for these items.

Excellent container for small baking goods

I have bought a few lock and lock containers recently after we had an outbreak of moths that came in some hamster food and horror of horrors, got into my food cupboards. We had to have a major clean up and disinfect the cupboards, chuck most of the dry goods, and I read that you need very good sealed containers for flour etc until your are on top of the problem. These seem to be recommended in a number of places as the only real airtight ones. Most of the sizes I got were the taller ones, for 1kg or 500g of baking goods, but this particular size is good for containing all the little packets and tubs of baking goods that you don't want to decant into a tiny container. So in mine I have my tubs of baking powder and bicarbonate of soda, various cake decorating toppings, like tubes of sugar stars and chocolate spaghetti. Although this was out of necessity I love that it has organised my cupboard and I have more space in there now and don't have tubes of chocolate spaghetti falling out of the cupboard every time I open the door. We used to joke that our kitchen cupboard was like the one on the M&Ms advert - you open the door and something leaps out and hits you. Not any more!

Side of the lid broken

Its my second disappointment of lock & lock containers....i am huge fan of this brand, but for this box i just used only for one month, its one of the side lock part is broken....

LOVE MY LOCK & LOCK CONTAINERS

I love my Lock & Lock but was a little dissapointed thought it was bigger for the price a paid. Although I love this size also just find it was a little expensive for it.

Lock & Lock containers are great. I have various sizes and use most of them regularly. They are sturdy, keep things fresh, lock perfectly and are easy to clean. I have a family member who mentioned that dishwashers can cause problems, due to the heat, causing the lids to not fit as well. I have never put mine through a dishwasher and never had a problem, despite cleaning them in very high water temperatures on occasions, so I assume it's the sustained temperature throughout the dishwasher cycle that can cause the issue, which I suspect would be an issue for most containers of this type.
