Excessive amount of colored dyes but works well
We are a bit of a brainwashed society when it comes to unnecessary high levels of dyes in products. The manufacturer believes that the consumer won't think the product tastes minty enough, from a psychological belief that if the product isn't blue or green enough that it isn't as minty as it could be (forming an opinion even before trying the product.) The product has way too much dye in it. I'd love a dye free version of this. Don't soak pacifiers or dentures in this (you'll wind up cleaning them again with something else, scrubbing them to get the blue caked on film off. I like to leave 1/3 a cup of this on a shelf next to my shower (as well as the rest of the closed bottle.) I brush my teeth in the shower and then toss my toothbrush into the cup (actually a denture/retainer cup) of listerine on shelf. If anything settles down in the denture/retainer cup, the bristles aren't resting in it while still remaining submerged in listerine. About every 1-1.5weeks I'll pour it out, rinse it and fill it with fresh listerine. This contains 21.6% alcohol. It is effective but not overpowering. Where as regular Listerine has 26.9%, and most other alcohol based mouthwashes are more mild at 14-16%. It does a good job at killing germs in your mouth, with a pleasant enough flavor. Consider drinking some gatorade/powerade (or other electrolyte drink) shortly after rinsing out your mouth, especially if you regularly experience dry mouth and/or dry eye symptoms.

Turns teeth blue.
My daughter loves the taste. But it turns her teeth blue and she has to water brush her teeth afterwards. We have well water, so a Floride rinse is a must.
