Looks great, just slides around like it's trying to escape

I love the design and look of this thing. The magnet keeps it closed but not too strong so you're still able to tap it open when needed. My only criticism is I wish it were heavier or had some way of keeping it from sliding around my counter like it wants to keep all the salt for itself!

Wished Magnet was stronger, still works perfect!

Works as expected! I just personally wish the magnet was a tiny bit stronger. It's fairly easy to open with just a slight tap. Otherwise, it's perfect!

Nice jar

Pretty nice quality. I use it to store salt for cooking. I wish the magnet used for the lid was a bit stronger though.

Nice wood. Good size.

I found the swing-lids to be a bit loose after opening them several times. But overall I liked them. I also an able to engrave the top with a personalized recipe with my CNC machine. I use the product as gifts. I would give 5 stars if the lids were more secure and the price was about $3. Less.

Won't help you cook any better but it will give you a feeling like you're doing better than you probably are at the meal your cooking! a truly pure vanity purchase!

Excellent quality

Sturdy, clean, really nicely finished, hinged magnetic lid works perfectly. Far better than many others I've seen, would definitely recommend.

Love it..but

The media could not be loaded. LOVE IT…BUT! I bought this to use as a sugar dish because I thought it would look nicer on my counter and it does! The colour and quality is perfect. I’ve had mine for almost a year now. Someone loved it so much they wanted it too so I ordered one more as a gift. I received a beaten up USED one. The video I posted doesn’t show the damage well enough. Right away the colour was lighter. The edges weren’t as smooth as mine. The lid sticks when you try to slide it over. The inside had scratches and the outside had dents. It also came unwrapped. Whereas mine came wrapped and in new condition. When I started a return through Amazon I had the option for a replacement so that’s what I went with. The replacement is perfect condition and came wrapped. Overall it’s great if they don’t send you a damaged one.

Makes salt super accessible!

I used to keep salt in a mason jar that I had to unscrew the lid, and hidden away in the cupboard. However, this saltbox has really made using salt easier and I tend to use fewer amounts of it too because I just open and take a pinch here and there. I love the swivel cover and the wood looks so pretty on my countertop too. :)
