Thin stainless steel, scratches easily. Gets the job done
This is a case of you almost get what you pay for. It is a lightweight stainless steel that scratches every time it is scraped with a spoon or you cut a piece of pie out of it. There is no quality to the feel of this pan. It is not flimsy but it does not feel as though it has any substance to it either. I bought two of these to use to make pies for Thanksgiving as I could not find any pie pans locally. As I am sure we have all experienced, Amazon Prime is not what it used to be and they no longer deliver in a two day, quick to your day, way. It took over a week for these to be delivered. Thankfully, I had ordered a couple of weeks before I needed them so they arrived in time and we actually used them several times as plates and as pans for warming things in the oven before they were pressed into service for pumpkin pie making. The size and shape makes them great for using as plates, especially for children or for those foods that don't quite need a bowl but could use something more than a flat edged plate. They also work well for those left overs you prefer to heat in the oven rather than the microwave. They also served their purpose well as pie pans, cooking the pies perfectly, and made pretty additions to the dessert table. I have no complaints about the pan in general. It is an ideal multi purpose piece of kitchen ware that I hope will last a long time. All that said, I paid 5.99 each for these pans. The price was good and you do get what you pay for. The trouble with that is that I have been watching these pans on amazon for a couple of years now, never quite giving in and buying them, and I have seen the price go as high as 9.99 each. Even at the 5.99 I paid for them, I have stainless steel plates (caveman cups brand) that average 10.00 per plate, bought in a set of 4 plates, that the quality is unsurpassed. For no more than double the cost of this pie pan, and sometimes for the same price, depending on Amazons price fluctuations, I have stainless steel plates that are so sturdy I would not be surprised to see them hold up just fine if I ran them over with a truck. This pie pan, on the other hand, would most likely dent if dropped on the floor, let alone was run over by a bicycle. All in all, it served it's purpose and was priced, at the time I bought them, so that I paid little more than I would have paid for a disposable pie pan. I am happy with this purchase and would, and probably will, buy them again. Just don't go into this thinking you will get a quality item. You will get a serviceable one that won't last your lifetime, let alone survive for your grandkids. It does however have no sharp edges and gets the job done. What more can one ask for?

Simple and sturdy!
Love the heft of the pie plate..very sturdy. Washes in dish washer and comes out perfect. I baked a cherry pie in it. It takes 2 cans of pie filling and bakes perfectly! I love it!

This pan is base metal with a very thin layer of stainless steel (low grade) pressed over like a sandwich. Very poor design and Not what I want to cook my food in

For the price, this is great. I'm buying another one. This is stainless steel, not aluminum and it looks very pricey. Easy to clean and worthy of guests. Highly recommend.

Good product but damaged in transit, sent in packaging that was unfit for purpose
A good Dish, seems to be good quality and reasonable robust but it arrived damaged. The packaging was a plastic flimsy thin envelope with a single thin lining of bubble wrap. So it was squashed and bent during transit. I reported the damage to Amazon the same day it arrived and they gave me a full refund the day after. 1, Product is good quality. 2, Amazon were excellent. 3, packaging was unfit for purpose. 4, delivery companies used appear to have no interest in over how they treat the stuff in their care.

Cheap tin
This pan, while is actually made out of stainless steel, is so thin it bends and buckles when pressed. It is completely useless as a serious pie pan.
