Very solid, classic style!

These arrived quickly and were packaged extremely well. They are made of extremely solid, thick glass. Ordered for a birthday party where malts were wanted instead of cake. They were the perfect size for the recipe on the back of the Carnation malt container, and looked very beautiful with party straws!

They are a little small not as big as I expected them to be. But they are nice and thick glass.

No chips, no breaks, all smiles here

These are my new baby girls. When I was a boy my Mom used to take me downtown (this was before malls) to Woolworth's (this was before Wal-Mart) for a day of shopping (yuck!) and a blue plate special (this was before McDonald's) that came with a root beer float (this was heaven) in one of these glasses. And yes, I was a boy so I had to use the straw to make that sucking sound when the glass was empty. It's one of the laws of boyhood, I guess. Well, the first hurdle at Woolworth's was my poor Mom having to drag me past the caramel popcorn counter, then the aquarium filled with M&Ms, then to the elevator (where I was always puzzled when the elevator operator announced for one of the floors, "Ladies Foundation Garments," . . .wait, what? What in the world are foundation garments, anyway. And are there still foundation garments? Also, are there still ladies?). But then, after being led around for an hour or so, she'd take me to the Woolworth's lunch counter and we'd both have the blue plate special, (Roast Beef, mashed potatoes (this was before powdered potatoes), and green beans (canned)) and Mom always got me a root beer float, which was served in one of these thick, heavy glasses by a fresh-off-the-farm girl with wonderful creamy skin who called me honey and gave me a smile that made me warm inside. So I'm just now on my way to the grocery store for some Dad's Root Beer and some vanilla ice cream. When I get home, I'm going to make two floats, one for me and one for Mom. I love you Mom.

Just like a soda fountain

These glasses are very nice and heavy. They were packaged perfectly. Makes milkshakes or floats a nostalgic experience. They would be perfect for a hostess gift or to have on hand to make your next rootbeer float fancy.

Love these glasses!

I was looking for some thick milkshake glasses and these were perfect for me. They are heavy and feel sturdy enough. They are also good for the price and they don't feel cheap. Overall I'm happy with this purchase :)

I like the size and shape of these glasses but one was broken when I opened the box. They are beautiful but I almost cut myself on the damaged glass. I like that they are thick glass though.

These soda fountain glasses are perfect for professional looking milkshakes and ice cream sundaes. I love them. Good quality and price was ok. Very pleased with my purchase. The glasses were careful wrapped and arrived in mint condition.
