Removes chlorine odor, good back-up filter, can't recommend for daily use since
The H2O filter arrived on time and in brand new condition. Packaging was great. Instruction manual was easy to read and follow. The process to install the first filter took about 20 minutes, but was fairly easy. The pitcher is well designed and built. I would've like it better if the large top reservoir hole had some type of snap-to-lock mechanism. 1st filter lasted 48 days on the slowest filter setting. I didn't do a cup count for the entirety of the 1st filter, but for the 2nd filter I was able to get approximately 113 cups, which was only 10 days of use on the slowest setting before it started to significantly slow down. It would still filter, but at an extremely slow rat. It took an hour for a whole top reservoir to filter. I'm on my 3rd filter since 3/30/2020 with some problems: when it was only a couple days old, the water would seem to just flow right through the filter as if it wasn't filtering at all, and other times it would drip rapidly like it was filtering normally. I'd have to dump out the water and start over and monitor it to make sure it was filtering properly. I finally removed the filter and let it soak again for 15 minutes and ran it through tap water AND shook it. This seemed to work. The resulting filtered water still leaves white residue after boiling it compared to reverse osmosis water I got from a vending machine and Arrowhead's distilled H2O. Once the filters were ready to be thrown out, it weighed significantly more than a new one. But after drying it out for a few weeks it weighed the same as a new one so it's possible it wasn't filtering heavy metals. I can't say with empirical science as I don't have any testing equipment to measure any data. It does remove most of the chlorine odor of the tap water in my city. Then again, from what I've read from many experts, chlorine is the easiest chemical to remove from tap water simply by leaving it out uncovered for a certain amount of time depending on the amount.

Not my fave
This didn't taste great once the water got warm. When it was cold it was ok, if you made ice with it and used the ice in another beverage it tasted off. I use the container for stuff, didn't buy more filters though, and I didn't test it this is all off my taste so I am.not going to dog them too bad on it.

Save the planet, your body and soul with this nifty people waterer. Water tastes like nothing.
We recently moved to an area with heavy farming and were worried about the water quality. Motivated by our Earth - saving teen daughter, we decided that plastic bottles were not the way to go, and ordered this based on the awesome reviews. It arrived well packaged with simple instructions. You sink the filter in water (it wants to float, we put a spoon on it to try and keep it down) for 15 minutes and then its ready to use. The plugs on the bottom can adjust to make it filter more slowly or more quickly. On its high speed it will filter the entire upper area in under 5 minutes. The water just pours through. So, ok, you pour out the first couple of pitchers and then you can drink it. So, how do I describe this? This water tastes like nothing. Nothing. I guess water probably shouldn't have a taste because it makes it delicious. It just feels like your body absorbs it. Again, probably the way water *should* be. It has become a bit of a novelty. The kids have their friends try the water when they come over because it is really interesting how clean and pure the water really tastes. Very very highly recommend.

True Quality
This review is a pleasure to write because the quality of the product is undeniable. I cannot find one feature about the Levoit water filter pitcher to dislike or to take issue with. I have used water filter pitchers for at least two decades and, without exaggeration, I believe this one to be the best. It is very easy to assemble (not that much assembly is necessary) and, something I never encountered before: one has the choice whether the water can be filtered quickly or slowly. How convenient is that! Additionally, the cost of replacement filters is very reasonable: I paid $3.00 less than filters for the best-known brand. Having used a water filter pitcher for so many years, and having tried several different brands, I cannot praise the Levoit highly enough. When pouring water, the pitcher does not leak. All of the parts fit snugly and one does not have to worry about the filter or filter casing, falling out. Further, I did a taste test of the filtered water from the Levoit in comparison with water from the best-known brand on the market. It really is the case that the Levoit produced much "sweeter", fresher water. Hands down, I recommend this water filter pitcher. It earns five stars and an A+.

Great taste, great weight, great price!
I bought this pitcher after practically loosing my mind over the leaky piece of crap filter/dispenser I purchased last year. The crappy black Brita tap fridge dispenser leaked ALL its contents into my fridge at least 18 times, practically ruining the fridge, filling the drawers with water and flooding the area under the fridge. Finally had enough when the lever to dispense the water literally snapped off in my hand and I pounded the hell out of it with a hammer and replaced it with this beauty! So far, BEST. PITCHER, EVER. More affordable than the other name brands, replacement filters are affordable, water tastes great, best of all not flimsy feeling, but not too heavy when filled. Wish I'd seen it before I spent $40 on that other hunk of junk! Don't bother spending money on a "name brand" that can't compete... This is a great pitcher, great taste, great capacity and perfect weight. Just buy it!

Fantastic results for drinking water and brewing flavor in coffee.
We have what is considered "good tasting" water in Skagit Valley Wa. but I have noticed a change in flavor suggesting Iron content. I drink a lot of water and found myself not enjoying it like I used to. I also take my one cup of french press coffee each morning very seriously, so when it started to become more acidic in taste I was prompted to try filtered water. I chose this brand because of the materials used in it design and I'm so glad I did. My coffee is absolutely delicious every day, which is delightful and I find my self back to drinking ALOT of water each day. Very happy with this filter/pitcher,. The process of filtering the water is quite quick and the pitcher is not too heavy when filled to the level suggested.

Filter sucks!
Perhaps ut6was a bad filter.. But seeing as this is the 1st one and I'm already having problems, this will be returned. I followed all the instructions. I removed the filter and shook it to remove air bubbles. Refer to the photo. It just stopped filtering. The water in the top is suspended and will not drain to the bottom. Tried this several times and the same thing kept happening. I also made it it was set to drain quickly as well as there are 2 tabs that you can set the speed to filter. I'd stay away from this product.

Quedan sedimentos. Si empleas un ozonizándote antes del filtrado el sabor es metálico si lo usas después del filtrado el sabor es feo. Así q si solo filtras el agua con este aparato quedan residuos alcalinos que quedarán en tu cafetera u olla. El filtro solo cubre metales pesados.

No lo compren!
El producto es bueno pero está descontinuado al igual que los filtros que ya no se consiguen en ninguna parte. Mejor buscar otras opciones!

Muy buen producto
Mi hija de 5 años ya se hace su agua llenandolo, es decir si es facil de uso. El agua no tiene sabor y la operación de filtración es bastante rápida. Es un buen medio de tener siempre agua en la mesa
