Well-made outdoor or weather resistant switches
These are well-made electrical outlets that are tamper and weather resistant. I ordered 4 of these with the matching switch covers in grey to replace my old outdoor outlets, and these are perfect. They're solid and easy to install. The instructions are clear as well.

Product Package Questionable
The way this thing is packaged is very sketchy. No seal on the container, no plastic covering, and the container itself was half open for one of them. That said, I installed one of the receptacles and it works and gave proper voltage level. But I don't have confidence in longevity or durability due to the way Leviton stores its product.

Good replacement
Decent replacement for worn out 110 volt outlet. It has 2 push in inserts and 2 screw on terminals, so if you had 3 push ins on your old outlet you will have to use the screws. Solid enough and really grips the plug, At first it's somewhat hard to insert plugs but will ease over time. Old outlets with worn contacts are annoying and may even cause heat buildup or blown circuit breakers from poor electrical conduction. I change mine out hot using rubber gloves but don't recommend this at all. I'm just lazy and didn't want to flip the breaker first which you should always do. Your outlet will feed OTHER outlets unless it is dedicated as refrigerators and washing machines should be. Those are also 20 amp generally and this outlet is 15 amp for 14 gauge wire. Many older homes are wired with 20 amp 12 gauge throughout, or when new homeowners specify that they want only 20 amp runs. My home is mostly 15 amp 14 gauge with the exceptions for special areas. Black and white is marked with raised letters and the screws are colored as well.The price is right, of course older men will remember American made outlets for about a dollar many years ago.

Perfect replacement for outdoor outlet and easy install!
I had one of my outdoor outlets smashed recently, and needed to get a replacement ASAP as I didn’t feel safe with having it exposed and damaged with it snowing here in Michigan. This outlet seemed to be a perfect replacement to the damaged one I took out wiring it was simple as the connections were exactly like the previous ones. Hook the wires on the screws and tighten up! I am not sure what the major difference between the white and gray outlets are besides the price and color, but the gray one did the job for my outdoor electrical outlet! I definitely recommend this outlet and will update if I run into any issues in the future. Good luck and stay safe!

Durable, made in USA
I purchased this product to replace an older Leviton NON-WR receptacle (manufactured 1985-1995) that was very loose and slightly burnt on the outside. The old receptacle's bracket was very oxidized. It was replaced and promptly discarded after. This new weather resistant receptacle also is tamper-resistant to prevent any elements from entering the receptacle, and for your safety. If you need to replace your exterior outlet(s), consider purchasing this product. Would buy again.

Great Product. Love it!
Wow,this outlet has made my daily routine so much easier.To begin:In the morning i love to wake up and listen to music while showering.This outlet has made it so that without even having to do anything,my radio turns on automatically when i take my shower!How amazing is that!Afterwards,i go to work and there's no worries to be bad since all of my appliances ar set to turn off when i'm not at home.The timer function is flawless and allows me to have peace of mind.When i get home,the lights are already on waiting for me and i can just kick back and relax right away.This outlet is a must if you're planning on upgrading your home with smart technology.

Tamper Resistant
It is impossible to test it with a line tester because you cannot insert it into the "hot" connector. Both Ground and Hot prongs must be inserted at the same time and needless to say a line tester is a single "prong". I have attached the cover and of course the cover does not go back over about 80 degrees so it is extremely difficult to "rock" a plug into it because of the Tamper Resistant feature. Hopefully it will ease in time or else I may have to purchase a narrow plug extender into which I can plug the extension cord.

Works as expected
What is there to say about a receptacle? I guess I'll have to update my review in 10 years if it stood up to the elements. Quality seems decent, typical Leviton. The grey nicely matched the color of my outlet box. Make sure to install it on a GFCI protected circuit when installed outdoors as the receptacle itself is not a GFCI receptacle.
