Not really black, more very dark brown

Bought this with other black outlets. And after installing it next to a piano black wall outlet its visable that its not 100% black but more a very dark brown

Quite possibly THE best blank switchplate.

What more can be said? I ask you. I am in bliss. In my entire lifetime, I have encountered many blank wall plates. Some were simply pseudo-blank; you know, those ones with the hole in the middle. Be assured: this is the Real Thing. If I had to list one criticism, it would be that I prefer the ivory color more. However, we were constrained by the color of the existing outlets. These are the spawn of the previous fools who owned this dwelling. Of special interest is the fact that this plate is Oversize -- that is, it has an extra 3/8-inch dimension in the vertical and horizontal dimensions (unless you are mounting it on the ceiling). This was helpful in covering the sheetrock abuse of the past 45 years.

Single gang plate simple and easy to install

Item fit perfectly and was easy to install. This was a replacement for item delivered broken. Amazon replaced and shipped item quickly. I am grateful for the quick response.

These fit the old plate space precisely and enhance the look of my Sherwin Williams paint. These plates seem to be made to hold the screw in place for easier attachment.

Screws

The manufactures packaging was opened up - likely during shipping to a facility. As such the 2 screws were not in the package. Had to buy another to get the screws.
