Easy to clean litter pan that doesn’t smell
This is a very good litter pan. Most of them smell after a little while or while the litter is in there or when the animal uses the box I found this is a very good sturdy easy to clean pan. I really like this one a lot. I’ve been using it for many years.

Nice large basic litter box
So what can one say about a no-frills litter box? What I like is that it’s larger than most. Since I don’t have too much to say about the box itself, I’ll offer a bit of wisdom. In my opinion most manufacturers of cat litter recommend a deeper level of litter than necessary. This effectively jacks up the price of the litter, especially when the litter box is on the large side. Over the years our cats have done just fine with less litter than usually recommended. The only reason I’m giving this litter box four stars rather than five is because its price has increased about 50% in the six months since I purchased it.

Deep & Wide!
Huge and fantastic! I bought this to replace the Petmate Booda Dome Cleanstep Cat Box which I've used for about a year and a half. I liked the size and depth of it, but my cat hated using a hooded dome and would leave me little surprises around my home. I've used it for about a year now without the hood, just the base, and she had a thing for peeing at the edges and then digging incessantly causing pileup on the carpet. Worse still was the occasional messes left on the stairs, half buried with litter tossed over the side. The Purness Giant Cat Litter Pan solves all of this for me in that it's big enough for her to comfortably use and deep enough to prevent overside spillage. I was concerned it might take her some getting used to because she's so picky about litter boxes, but within five minutes of setting it out with fresh litter she's already used it without me even noticing! This means no telltale flinging of litter or incessant flopping the side of the box back and forth with her paw, giving me both a quieter and cleaner home! Very happy with the size, deep and wide. I received the blue box, and though I would have been happy with any color, this is just the icing on the cake. Seems to be pretty durable, and I like that the edges have enough length to comfortably provide grip for moving. I was torn between selecting this product and another similar sized litter box, and the deciding factor ended up being the size and shape of the edges. Always nice to be able to vacuum around and underneath as needed!

Very Large But A Bit Smaller Than The "Large" Pan Purchased A Year And A Half Ago
When I downsized after my husband's death, about a year and a half ago, my daughter purchased a large box from WM. I use an excellent clumping litter, so I scoop the clumps out and as the litter goes down a refill more litter. The only thing that I noticed was the powdery residue from my old litter stuck on the bottom and I would try to scrape it off since my present litter doesn't do that and there is absolutely no odor. I only have one cat now and I clean out the litter every night. I decided to get a new litter box and use the heavier litter because it's clumping action is superior and the lightweight formula, while good, it is not quite as good. I shopped through all the litter boxes and decided to get this "Giant" litter box. When went to switch the boxes my daughter noticed that this box was a bit smaller than the one she had purchased for me when I moved here a year and a half ago. I was kind of surprised because this touts itself a GIANT! I do like the long sides that are higher and it seems that I am the one spilling litter on the floor when I clean the litter out at night. One of the two ends is a bit lower which I guess is good for small cats or kittens. I guess if you want to decide, you can scroll down on the Amazon product page and write down the dimensions for each pan in order to get the idea of which pan was the best for your household.

Great litter boxes but the price increase from 9.99 to 24.01 makes these boxes unaffordable!!!!
I love these litter boxes. I have ordered them 4 times so far. The main reason I am giving three stars now is that I decided that I was going to purchase more. When I purchased them last year. The giant litter boxes only cost 9.99 per box. Now it has gone up to 24.01 PER BOX!!!!! The price increase is just something that I can not afford. Now I am going to have to try and find another brand that has the same quality as these for a better price. I can understanding raising prices but raising them approximately 2.5 times the price from last year is just ridiculous.

The part about these Cat Litter Pans they don't tell you
The price is why I bought this pan. It's the price for the pan and FREE shipping is why I upgraded this to 3 stars. It is very flimsy and buckles when you lift it. The side are contoured so, if your kitty gets any on the side, you will be saying a few choice words. The sides make the litter stick like cement, when and if kitty ever decides to use the side of the box. The color makes whatever sticks to the sides, show up like a wart on your nose. I found the perfect box but it is 3 times the price. But I got so tired of this blue thing...I spent the big bucks, and I no longer cuss during my daily dig. The review below, I left for the perfect kitty litter box... It's a "35 L Plastic Large Bus Tub"… The size is perfect for a large kitty litter box. The insides are smooth and slick, so no more prying the clump off the sides. The sides are straight, not contoured like 90% of the real litter boxes. Make cleaning a breeze. Sturdy and easy to grip even with 40 pounds of litter. The Gray Color is perfect for gray kitty litter. Not like a bright blue actual litter box, which looks gross if your kitty likes to go on the sides of the box. Expensive yes, because you have to buy 4 of these bad boys. But divide 60 by 4 and that's only 15 for each box. They are 100% perfect in every way. The only thing the seller did wrong is make me discover on my own, how wonderful these are as Kitty Litter Boxes!

Van Ness Giant Cat Litter Tray
These litter trays are such good, sturdy quality and, are of an excellent size, approx: 22" long x 15" wide x 7" high. Thanks to the high sides and generous proportions, cat litter is not spread around so much by enthusiastic feline excavators! Even our largest cat can be accommodated with room to spare - so no more embarrassing - for him - messy "misses" to clean-up. (Our smallest cat has absolutely no problem either and is not at all fazed by all the extra space.) The Van Ness trays are not at all brittle, like some of the cheaper ones which are widely available from many supermarkets and pet stores; from personal experience, those have a tendency to split and break within a very short time. It was not possible to choose a colour, but the two trays we ordered (from VetUK, here at Amazon) are both a pleasing shade of blue. An excellent buy.
