Lenox Makes Nice Plates

Quality stoneware plates with a lovely design. Lenox seems to be a classy brand. The subdued coloring demands these be used in filtered daylight. That was my first impression. They highlight desserts well, they would be lovely with breakfast on them. These plates are weighty. They wash smooth. The barcode stickers peel off easily. I like finding companies and artisans that seem trustworthy and Lenox has been one of these. These medium sized plates are great for casual lunch or breakfast use or make for a spacious dessert plate. The textures, like the coloring, are subdued. If you value these at the price listed (around fifty dollars time of this writing) then I can recommend them.

Good quality--pattern less abstract than I expected

With Lenox you can't go wrong. These are good quality plates. They are stoneware, rather than the china that Lenox is really famous for, but still very nice. They are called salad plates--a little small for dinner plates and too large for dessert plates. I prefer my salad in a bowl. We'll use them as serving plates. I expected the pattern to be a little more abstract than it is. It really is a floral pattern, but it is sufficiently subdued that it does not distract. The color is also subdued; it's bluish-grey. I'm glad to have these plates.

Not Much Color

There is not much color to these plates, but they are very nice. The design adds some texture to the plates without it being overdone. These are smaller salad type plates, not the larger dinner ones. Lenox quality is generally good for their dinnerware. Overall, a nice set but the colors definitely don't "pop."

So pretty!

I've never been into Lenox until now - the patterns always seemed way too frilly and dated but this line of the mismatched but perfectly matched line is super modern and cool. I love the quality of these, they are light weight and can go in the dishwasher. The pattern is very attractive and these are a perfect size.

A nice addition of color for the Spring.

This set of four salad plates measure a little over 8 inches. They are a stoneware textured neutral and the color is slate. They are dishwasher and microwave safe. They are a perfect salad plate and can be mixed with white, grey, green or other solid china or plates for that pop of color. They are attractive and will showcase whatever you decide to put on them. I love the floral motif and am sure you will receive many compliments with these salad plates.

Great quality set

These floral accent plates look classy and stylish. The design is subtle and very aesthetically pleasing. The stoneware material is thick and durable. They're both dishwasher and microwave safe. All in all, a bit pricey, but the quality is worth it.

Beautiful, Nice Coloring…

Beautiful, Nice Coloring! I love the coloring. These will be fun for tea, in our little tea room. The coloring and patterns are perfect. I am really excited about this set. I love Lenox. These are the same, great quality, as my other pieces. I have found some other botanicals and things that go perfectly with these; but have different patterns. This was a really, exciting find.

Such a pretty pattern

This 4 piece dinner plate set is quite stunning. I ordered it to mix and match with another Lenox dobby set. So it is the same dimension and same thickness, color tone etc. it looks ???? perfect! The pattern reminds me of an inky watercolor of a giant thistle flower. It’s abstract and has flowy movement to it. Lenox has a great “break” policy too. With proof of breakage, they will send you a replacement for a nominal charge. Very cool!
