Wonderful Learning Toy
These offer a ton of possibilities letter recognition, fine motor skills, sorting, and color recognition. I got this as an Easter gift for my two year old, I figured both my two and five year old could play with it. Both of my children can play with it but the two year old does need to be supervised closely as they are small enough that a child could swallow and choke. All in all we love this toy but could maybe be rated for 3+.

Nice size
Love this lacing m and m set. My toddlers were easily able to lace with a nice size hole. And the bright colors kept their attention

Nice size for small hands
Very nice sized 'beads'. Each is about 1" or so (not a choking hazard). Great for tiny hands. I don't understand the purpose of the scoop other than to look cute. The lace is a bit cheap and has began to fray some, but that is easily remedied by using a higher quality lace/string. Great for kids learning letters and for hand-eye coordination. I wish there were more letters so kids could spell out words.

Great learning game/tool
My granddaughter is 2 years old and loved these! As soon as we got them out of the box she was identifying various letters. I believe she will get a lot of use from this product as she grows and begins spelling small words. The laces to string the letters with are relatively short but the round pieces themselves are a very nice size and I would not be afraid for her to play with them unsupervised.

Lacing Sweets that can't be laced
I bought this product for my 4 year old daughter for Christmas. Each piece of candy has a capital letter on one side and the corresponding lower case letter on the other - a good thing. My daughter loves that they are candy shaped and she can scoop them out of the candy jar and play with them. I love the fact that everything fits into the "candy jar" and stores away very nicely. However, the main reason I bought this was so she could practice lacing and make words at the same time. It is very difficult to get the shoestring through the hole. As an adult I had a hard time. How is a 4 year old suppose to do this. If your goal is only to play with the letters, then this would be a fine gift, but if you actually want to lace them, rethink your purchase.

Highly recommend!
Me and my daughter love these! Each candy has an uppercase letter on one side and a lowercase letter on the other. There are 2 different ways to lace them. There's a hole on top, which my 2 yr old laces with no problem. Then they can be laced through the sides which is difficult for her. Everything fits in the candy jar which is great. I highly recommend this toy! Helps a lot with letters and hand eye coordination.

Great for fine motor & learning to spell
I bought these to help my 2 yr old with fine motor skills but I am also using it now to help my six year old spell out words for writing.

Great toy for learning letters and improving coordination
My wife and I have been teaching our 3 year old her letters. This toy was recommended by a teacher at school so we purchased it and couldn't be happier. The letters are made out of quality material and have been taking a beating but still look great. The little included shovel is a great way for my daughter to improve her coordination and shows that the toy makers have thought of everything when creating this.

Damaged box
Fine except box was really damaged. It’s good that it comes with a container to store needs and laces.

Cute but more beads needed
The beads are a nice size, but the laces provided are relatively short. There is only one bead per letter so spelling words is difficult, especially if you're using this as a centre in a kindergarten classroom with more than one child at a time. I will have to buy at least two more sets. Cute idea, just expensive for what you get.

I got this for my little boy who has autism and SLD. He loves it. The beads are soothing to touch and he loves spending time with them. They are quite durable as he hasn't been able to break or scratch them yet.
