I bought these for my toddler to play with and to teach her shapes. I am not fond of the product because no matter how you try to carefully make a design the pieces keep sliding away. My toddler was becoming very frustrated using them. I thought the pieces were sliding because she still needs to develop her fine motor skills but when I tried I had the same problem. I have decided to use them on contact paper to resolve that issue. The pieces are very pointed and are hazardous if you step on them. If you plan to use the product with small children they definitely have to be supervised. The product includes some very tiny pieces which I removed before allowing my toddler to play with them. I have no complaints about the delivery time or the seller.

My 4-year-old nephew LOVES these. Good sized pieces that seem durable and standard size. Was disappointed to realize the product doesn't come with patterns, but the listing doesn't state that it will, so that was my silly assumption. I found several pattern books that all match this set though. Great for learning colors, shapes and spacial reasoning, and the kid has so much fun with it. His mom may hate that they're messy, but what toy isn't?

Great
These are great! I was worried they would be too thin but they are perfect. It's lots of fun to play with these on clear contact paper that is turned sticky side up and taped to a table (you could even attach a pattern block card under the contact paper so they can see through to the pattern they are making)--really helps the kids keep the blocks in place (which otherwise is frustrating for little ones when the blocks slide all around which happens especially with the plastic ones like these). These have been hours of fun for homeschool and just for play.

Fantastic
My kids play with this pretty regularly. They don't make their own pictures with it, but I also have little shape cards that they can follow along with and make pictures with. They enjoy seeing the progress of the simple shapes being placed together and creating something beautiful with them. My 5 year old likes to try and make flowers and cars, and he's doing quite well! Excellent tool for brain building and creativity.

Great - but I might like solid wood ones better
These were bought for my 3 year old for her bday. The idea is awesome and she really loves them. I do wish I would have gotten wood ones for more 'weight' to the pieces. These are very light and would only work used on laminate floors (like we have) or a table. All in all a great item at a great price. We love the idea of getting our kids more toys with less batteries ;)

Great blocks and lots of fun!
I love these blocks. I played with them at school as a kid and have wanted some ever since. Now I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old and I figured these would be great for them to play with. They absolutely love them and I still do too. You get a very good amount of blocks to play with and they are very durable. I ordered them withPattern Cards for Pattern Blocks Set and the blocks fit perfectly on the patterns. I have no complaints with these blocks at all and would definitely reccommend them to a friend!

Patterns, patterns everywhere!
Again, well done Learning Resources, my kids enjoy these for hours and hours!! We bought the cards to go along with these and they play with them often! We also use these in our schooling curriculum, so win win!! They seem like they will last for quite a while yet! Thank you, keep up the excellent work!

I was very happy with the amount of blocks that come with this set. I have 13 students in my class and it is often difficult to have enough materials for free center activities that can accommodate a group of 4-5. I also bout the pattern block mats with this as well, which was much easier and less time consuming than trying to locate free ones online.
