Comfortable but poofy
This cap is comfortable and seems well made. On the other hand, like others have mentioned, if you pull it down flat on your head you will likely cover your ears and maybe even your eyes. If you don't pull it down flat, your helmet won't sit right. Convenient, but not perfect.

It's a welder's cap! But fit is a little wonky.
Like the headline says - It's a welder's cap and does what it's supposed to do. Fits easily under all my helmets and faceshields. However, I'm not sure what human they used for measurements - this thing is HUGE. I have a 7 1/4 hat size and the elastic band fits snugly to my head. However, if I want the top of the cap to fit snugly on my head, I'd have to pull it down below my ears and eyes! If I sit it squarely across my forehead and above my ears, there is about two inches of emptiness above my head inside the cap. This scrunches down with the top strap on my helmets/faceshields, so is not that big a deal. But come on - how about using some HUMAN measurements when designing these things.

Nice sturdy construction
Made of heavier fabric, does not cover the ears as other reviews noted. Fit as a scull cap should.

Good hat and well made
So far I like it and it protects my scalp from hot sparks. I do have a little trouble adjusting my face shield with the hat on my head. The shield needs lots of adjusting and maybe I will learn the secret before long.

It's a nice cap. I'm probably going to order more Lapco caps, but not from this vendor. The listing is deceiving. The picture shows three colored caps, but you only receive one white cap. Upon reinspection, it does say "white" at the end of the title, and "qty 1" deep in the description, but can't we just have a picture that reflects what you receive?

good welding hat
It is one size fits all, however that being said OSFA producted have loose areas for people that are bigger, the top of this is huge and gets crammed under a welding hood.

But will send you a different one. Didn’t see that it said assorted at first. Now I’m thinking “where are the rest?” Definitely false advertising. Definitely not what thought I was getting. I expected what the picture showed and got something totally different. I’m returning and finding another gift to give.
