Thank You GE Authentic Replacements
I was VERY excited to see that "GE Appliances" is still (in one carnation or another) kicking. (Side Note - I found their website AFTER I did all the hunting here on Amazon - it would have made the "will it fit?" question so much easier to solve than some of the confusion in the reviews here on Amazon.) I have a circa* 1999 GE Spacemaker Microwave, Model JVM1650BH05**, and this glass is the exact fit & perfect replacement. Fit right into place; my microwave is looking more and more Circa Awesome than ever. * I loved that someone else used this word in their review; so I had to also! ** I really miss this about really good, old fashion, American companies. Note that inside the microwave is a GE Part Number. Make sure you use this. You can use this to find all the exact parts you might ever want as well as the user's guide on line. Note regarding the picture; glass is in the back.

Too long for 2001 GE microwave
Before ordering I asked about the size of this lens. I got two answers repeating the obviously too large dimensions on the Amazon Website. I assumed that this is maybe the shipping package size and tells me nothing about the actual glass size. I gambled and ordered it anyway at $4.05. This WB36X10071 lens is 2 1/4" x 6 1/4" which is too long for the 2001 GE JVM1850 Spacemaker microwave. I eventually found that the correct lens is WB36X10167 2 1/4" x 3 5/8". The Amazon supplier (Filter House) carries only the longer lens. The shorter lens is available from several suppliers for about $60 !! I took another gamble to cut the too-long lens down to 3 5/8" length - it did not survive! Eventually I obtained a used lens on E-Bay. To be fair, the lens as received was OK. Prospective buyers should check that 6 1/4" length is correct for their replacement need.

Great replacement glass for under microwave light cover
This is exactly what I needed to replace the glass insert Over the lightbulbs that provide the service light under my microwave above my stove top. We accidentally block broke the original cover when replacing the lightbulbs and I was concerned that the replacement glass is going to be really expensive and was very happy to find this. Works great!

Glass Cracked within an hour of installation and use.
Glass cracked within an hour of installation, likely due to thermal stress from the heat generated by the halogen bulb. Product had a few edge imperfections that likely acted a stress concentrations. Poor quality. I would not buy this product again . (General Electric WB36X10071 Glass Cover for lamp on Microwave).

perfect fit!
I ord'd this glass along with a package of 3 bulbs for less than 19.00 total. The same order on GE parts store was 30 dollars and I think that only included one bulb! Total deal here. It fit perfectly and looks amazing. We use that light all of the time so it was nice to have it working again.
