Great family game
First played this game with the in-laws. I like it enough I bought it for my wife's birthday. It's simple enough to play with our 8 year old but uses enough strategy to keep the adults entertained. The fact that the mission parameters are different each time you play makes it a practically new game every time!

Very high quality for the price, ok game
I played the 2-player version of this game with my wife a few times. It's alright. Not super fun or something I want to come back to very often. This isn't a detriment to the game itself, I think it would be fun with more people but we have a distinct lack of other players here. If you plan on playing this with only 2 people I would find something else and give this a light pass. That said I love the artwork, cards, and overall quality packed into this box for the price. A personal note, for me the lack of communication drives me nuts. I play card games to chat with people and have fun, but being a cooperative game and unable to communicate just gives me an "off" feeling. We use the Sonar token differently, if we play a sonar token we can talk about that card. The high-middle-low thing isn't well thought out. I can see how openly talking at all times about all cards would also make the game too easy unless you jack the difficulty very high (taking on more higher-value challenges in a single round) where even if you could talk it would be hard to win, so we have "open comms" matches that are higher difficulty and we can say whatever we want. And that is the fun with this game, a few small modifications and my issue with not chatting during a co-op game is fixed yet the game remains challenging.

Such a great co-op game! My friends and I have spent hours playing this game, and the size of the bow makes it easy to travel with for impromptu games!

Fun, but not great
I heard some great things about this game and so it sounded like a win. We bought it and played it together (2 player game) and it was ok. It's not bad, it's not great. I honestly think it would be more fun with more players. As a 2 player game it's just average and there are plenty of other games we like and enjoy more. If we get to play this with a large group, and I remember, I'll update.

Awesome Cooperative Trick-Taking Card Game
The Crew: Mission Deep Sea manages to improve on the original The Crew game, which was already outstanding. This is an absolute go-to game when we get together with friends.

Favorite Game
This is one of my absolute favorite games. If you like cooperative or trick-taking games, this is for you. It is basically Spades with a twist and no teams (fully cooperative). It is nicely scalable so you can adjust the difficulty to whatever is suitable for your group. Nice and quick if you want, but engaging enough to continue for a long time as well.

Great Cooperative Card Game
Our younger son first introduced us to the original space-themed release of this game series. We enjoyed it so much we purchased this second release and went on ‘deep sea’ missions. A real winner.

Fun Co-op
Interesting little co-op trick taking game. Fairly easy learn and teach, just remember when teaching people who haven't played cooperative games before to re-enforce the idea of co-op. 2 player variant is good enough to be playable though best with 3-5.

Love it
Really enjoyed this follow-up game to Crew Planet Nine. Hours of fun (and co-operative) game play for our family. Hoping for a 3rd iteration of The Crew!

Excellent trick taking game
Excellent trick taking game with a nice amount of complexity. Not as easy to grasp if you aren't already familiar with the concept of a trick taking game because players aren't allowed to communicate with each other.
