Haven't used it yet but I snipped all the keys off as I have the sea-foo DESS chip programmed kill switch. Lucky they had a stainless key ring already on here for me to slide my DESS kill switch key to. The quality of the whole thing appears good except for the stitching. Which I'm concerned about. My old wrist strap was this same brand and style and lasted over 10 years, but I noticed the stitching on the Velcro area is only 3 rows compared 5 rows on my older model. This could mean nothing or it could not last long. Won't know for sure but only time will tell. It was just a concern I had and noticed about this. It still overall is nice and well priced as west mar--- has the exact same one model brand everything for $25! Well worth it from amazon. Oh and my last gripe about this is the whistle! Don't blow it unless your almost dead and have absolutely no other whistles available because this is so high pitched my eardrums literally went out for like an hour after I blew a small puff of air into it. It's "pealess" which most are but it's so small that it will harm your ears due to high pitching. Consider keeping a safer whistle than this on yourself so your hearing isn't impaired. Blow into it once and you'll believe me...

Good Lanyard
What more could you want? If you want to wear it on your wrist, BOOM, you gotta wrist hardness. You want to clip it to your life vest? BOOM, its got a clip for that! You gonna ride a Kawi, but your buddy has a Yamaha? BOOM, It's got ALL the right kill switch keys so you can switch back and forth... It floats, its tough, you'll never forget your whistle, and as long as its attached to your lifevest, you'll alway know where it is. I ride my Kawi like an idiot and theres not a day I ride that i don't go flying off the thing. After 2 seasons of riding, it hasn't shown any signs of wear, and i ride at least once a week in the summer. I bought one for a buddy, he's loves his too. The only negative comment i can make, is that its a little long. I ride standing up most of the time, and clip it to my jacket, and the slight weight of the plastic whistle on the lanyard is enough to make it bounce around while your riding, and i notice it smacks up against my ski. It's not going to do any damage, but its enough to notice it tapping on something while I ride, but it's never been so bad that is really annoys me. I will buy another one in the spring for my other ski.

Perfect in nearly every way
I like every aspect of this key set, color combo functions and value. I’m not crazy about all the keys so I just used diagonal cutters to remove the extras.

Great Product when on a deal
I don't know what the bad reviews are all about. I think this product is very good for the price I got it for. It was about 75% cheaper than the Yamaha OEM lanyard, which means I basically got this for nothing. Great quality at this price, and it works for a variety of outboards. This is perfect for those who have multiple toys, or as a spare set that can work for all. I would definitely buy this again if it goes on sale again.

Great Lanyard Even Better with a Quick Fix
This worked great. By the way, I slid the foam back, opened the clamp to remove all of the different keys and left the key ring on. Then I re-tightened the clamp, slid the foam over it, and put the key I wanted on the key ring. Now I can switch keys if necessary and have no extra keys on the lanyard. If I were to have a complaint--it is longer than the factory. So when I came off the jet ski, I was still connected and it was still running. But seems like it does a terrific job at a low price.

EXTRA KEYS
The product was delivered on time and looked good. The main complaint I had that prevented a 5 star rating was not being able to take the extra keys off easily. After 20 minutes and much effort I was able to bend the clip thing ( under the rubber foam ) holding the loop at one end apart so I could remove the keys I didn't need. Company should ship all keys in a small bag and add the ability to easily open the loop to attach the key you want.

This is a good and handy lanyard to take out on my motor boat. The only thing that disappointed me was the fact that none of the four cutout gadgets fitted my switch.

Not sure about other keys but Yamaha key was too ...
Not sure about other keys but Yamaha key was too tight for FX SVHO and very hard to get the key off the ignition, i had to file it down. Wrist bend and coiled lanyard are good as well as the spinner works well when stretched and back. It would have been solid 5 stars if i didn't have to work on it to make it good fit.

Beats dealer products!
Worked great for my 1995 Yamaha Wave Raider. Bright red is easy to see if you drop it in the lake, plus it floats as advertised. No issues! Would recommend. Also great cost savings rather than going to the dealer for a spare key.
