This sucker is tight!
Granted I'm not a small guy, but I'm not obese either! 6' tall, 52 chest, 34/36 waist, 238lbs.. I wear an XL hat size. I own other "one size fits most" neck gaiters and balaclavas... and they fit. This one? It's tight for sure! Had to put both forearms in it (tight for that too!) and spread it with force to be able to get it over my head ...which is shaved bald and shiny as a baby's butt.... and it was still tight. Had to stretch it again after forcing it over my head in strategic places. The bottom of the neck rolled over, had to play with that. The neck portion had to be stretched further to keep blood flow thru my carotid artery (for real... it was really singing till i got it stretched more! ). You can forget wearing this balaclava style, because if you can get it into position it doesn't lay on your face. It looks kinda like a 1970's parka hood snorkel, no matter how much you play with it. If you back it down and wear it gaiter style, over the mouth and nose... and stretch it further you can get away with it (and breathe too! ). Not really made for American heads, unless that American is a child, a petite female, or just plain small. I finally got it stretched out where it's usable... and got my daily isometric workout. No kidding about that either... it took a full 20 minutes of playing with it... just hope it doesn't shrink when I wash it! Lol I'm giving it 4 stars because of the fit and I'm being generous, plus I got it to work. (I'll keep it cuz it's not worth the work to send it back for 10 bucks.) If you're smaller than I am, or you don't mind the workout ... it's still kinda nice.... then just pull the trigger and get it. I like all of my other Kryptek stuff very much with few exceptions, and I do own alot of it. I even have more coming. I think Kryptek should listen to the other reviewers besides myself and start making this stuff right here in the good old US of A! After all, we're paying made in the USA prices for this stuff! Not for nothing, with overseas shipping container costs what they are, maybe they'll save money making em here (or break even) ... get better quality work, and create a few more jobs while they're at it! Not to mention you have alot of folks that won't buy stuff if it's not made here in the US ...Just sayin'...

My husband loved it!
I bought it for my husband as he works outdoors. In the winter it gets cold and windy so he really love the gaiter was perfect. Will be ordering more in different colors!

Pretty but stiff
It is very pretty, the materials feel of good quality but... it is somewhat thick and rigid.

Eh...it’s ok
Arrived faster than expected but as others have noted its two different fabrics stitched together. The Typhon panel is super thin, almost spandex like but not as stretchy as spandex. The black mesh panel is a tad thicker but seems to be some sort of moisture wicking fabric. What agitated me is the stitching around the seams is on the ends of the tubes. Hard to describe, but on most higher quality gaiters and balaclavas, the fabric is folded down and then stitched anywhere from a quarter of an inch or more from the edge. This product doesn’t, the stitching is right on the edge and since that’s the pressure point on your face, after about 10 minutes of wearing it I could feel my skin getting irritated around those edges. The stitching itself is also pretty poor, lots of loose ends and frays, I took a lighter to those edges old school style to clean it up. Also the tag inside the tube is bizarrely like 3 or four inches long. I figured it would rub my neck but I haven’t noticed it thankfully. Couldn’t help but notice the Made in Pakistan prominently on the inside too. $12.99 when I got it, so guess you get what you pay for. As others have noted the somewhat lack of stretch is an issue. I have a giant head so it wasn’t a problem for me, but on my son it just slides down without grabbing. I kept it, the camp pattern seems legit, it matches most of the other Kryptek Typhon items I have. Just not real impressed with the quality.

Ehh
Decent enough fabric, but far too tight for how not-stretchy it is.

Its good but falls off easily if you move
Its thin and breathable for sure but theese ones you get 6 for $10 rmfit better. The top and bottom have a seam in tt but its not a doubbled over seam so itfalls off your face easily. Im constantlybmoving my head in all directions at work so it doesnt work for me. Love the pattern though. Good for casual wear i guess

Good mask for the price
Bought this mask to wear during shifts at a construction job that requires us to have face coverings due to COVID. This mask is extremely lightweight and breathable, also perfectly matches my Raid pattern hoodie. My only complaint it's that's it has a slightly small diameter and isn't spandex like most similar style masks. The fit is a little odd but still gets the job done

Awesome pattern, lightweight
Not bad for the few dollars it cost. Liked the pattern so wanted it for that and it didn't disappoint in that respect. Would be nice to have ear holes. Certainly not intended as a medical mask but serves to meet requirements for "face covering" outdoors if necessary.

Très léger et élastique
Parfais pour ma tenue Typhon
