Nice looking but flawed

It looks great but has some design flaws. Requires 5 inch stem from wall and only secures near the end, which makes it not terribly stable. It needs something at the end closest to wall to stabilize it further. . Also as another reviewer mention if you hold it vertically so the end that goes against the wall is facing the floor, all the pieces fall out and it’s a major pain.

This spout is really cool and modern, unfortunately it wasn’t the right part.

Poor design and leaks

If you tip the faucet the wrong way, the guts will fall out and you’ll spend way too much time trying to put the pieces back together. Seriously—it’s a mess. Once installed, both faucets leaked behind the wall. The o-ring supplied in these kits are not tight enough to seal around the copper pipe, so it does leak water when the shower diverter is engaged. We ended up getting a different o-ring to make this faucet work. We should have returned it instead of fiddling around with a junk product.

Doesn’t work

Garbage. This diverter spout is an under engineered mess. The O rings fall out, along with the rest of the components. If you call Kohler for support, they give you the run around.They play dumb.They act like their products never fall apart.More garbage Chinese crap in my country

Solid piece

Has a home in our new bathroom remodel. DO NOT tip it backwards during install after loosing the retaining stud. The inner ring will fall out and it will be a nightmare to get it back in place. Once it was in I was very happy with it, but install turned a quick job into a project.
