Would be great snowshoes for real winter weather!
This was not the winter for me to get a pair of snowshoes. I live on a lake and hoped to snowshoe on it like I have cross country skied in the past. But not this winter, for the first time in over 30 years the lake hasn’t frozen completely and if the ice fishermen aren’t out there, I’m not either. So I have examined the snow shoes and tried them on in my living room but haven’t been outside with them yet. That said, the Yukon Charlie snowshoe set is truly awesome! The snowshoes are incredibly well made and attention was given to every detail in order to create an exceptional product. Bravo! The snowshoes are lightweight but truly built to last and I had no trouble securing them to my boots. The set also came with trekking poles and a carrying case which are also premium quality. Bravo again!

Excellent attention to details, design, and durability
Every detail- every "stitch", rivet, weld, material choice, construction process- is perfect. I rarely sing this level of praise, but these shoes are incredibly well built and showcase thoughtful design and attention to detail. As noted, materials are robust and build quality is exceptional. At this point, contemporary snowshoes have been tried and tested over and over. These shoes adhere to a "form follows function" approach, rarely deviating from how traditional snowshoes work, with exception to providing lighter, more durable materials. The straps are easy to use and adjust, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit. And their 'axle' system is designed to provide a more natural stride. That said, these easily punch above their weight to compete with some much higher priced shoes. The fact that they came with a set of trekking poles and a carrying case is a bonus. I'm quite happy with the set and they deserve every one of the five stars I've given them.

Very good value for a complete kit
My wife and I both have the original Sherpa snowshoes, the original aluminum body/synthetic decking snowshoe. They were premium priced, premium performance snowshoes when new, and now several decades later function as well as when they did new—which is very well. Still, I was curious what improvement over 30 years of product development would bring. I’ve now used these enough to justify a comparison and the answer is none, except to be slightly lighter, and a whole lot cheaper. That leaves me impressed with both the old and these new snowshoes.

great set, a tad pricey
Finally some snow to try these on. (New England region). After a couple of uses - the highlight is the light, sturdy frame that makes it fairly easy to remove the shoes. Adjustable straps stay in place without interfering the motion. Even with the included trekking poles and bag, it is on the pricier side; the hope is that the durability, especially of the ratchet systems and the clamps justifies it. Used by an early teen boy and an adult male (140, 170 lbs). The household has a few that were obtained in the 60-70$ range (without the poles), so far, no significant weight or performance difference seen in early trials.

Very pleased!
Wow! We were surprised with how quickly these arrived and with the quality of them! It was so great to be able to get a complete snowshoe package and not have to get them separately! We live in Alaska and have wanted to get out and do some snowshoeing! These are perfect! The quality is excellent, and it has everything we need to get out in the snow! They are comfortable to wear and sturdy. A bag to store them in would have been a plus, but we can find something to carry them in. Overall, very pleased with these!

Nice quality
I got these for my boyfriend for Christmas. They fit him well even over his giant boots. They are much lighter than the big box store brand that I own, I'm kind of jealous. He loved that everything came in the kit. Unfortunately, we have had crazy warm weather lately, so no snow shoeing yet. We can't wait to take these out on their maiden voyage.

Lightweight
These are the lightest snow shoes ever now all we need is some snow. When ordering it showed 10-15 days for delivery and my new snow shoes were sitting on my porch within 2 days - Way to go, I was worried I would not have them till after Christmas, we are going to the slopes if we have snow the day after Christmas. I went with the 8x25 size so that both my husband and I can both try them to see if they are worth getting another pair. I wasn't sure how the straps would be with my new shoe shoes since they are bulkier than my old ones but the straps are adjustable and I had no problem adjusting them to my fit my feet and my husbands.
