Just what I needed
Trying to work the brass with hand tools is not fun. This is way better and saves my hands.

Simple and substantial manual case prep tool
This is a nice kit. Comes with all the attachments you get on the powered Lyman case prep center, but in a manual format. Simple and effective. I was going to get the similar hand crank that can be used with the Forster chamfer / debur tool, which I also have, but this has more attachments and is a better deal, so I'll just keep the excellent Forster tool for small jobs in the house, and keep this on the bench. I have a powered unit on another bench, but often need a manual unit for smaller jobs and this is perfect, giving a nice middle ground between the larger powered multi-function tool and the hand-held ones. I fastened it to a poly coated piece of oak, with holes on the side for all the attachments, and can either clamp it or use it in the woodworking vice I have on the side of a dedicated bench for brass prep. There was a minor issue with one part of the kit, and after I got them on the phone Lyman customer service was great and sent me a replacement right away. The crank is heavy, well-machined, and rotates smoothly. Comes with clear well-written instructions showing you how to adjust it for minimal end play on the crank and a description of each tool attachment.

Most reliable case care tool
First off the picture is deceiving. It ships in a cardboard box, no plastic case. To me no big deal because it's easy to mount, small foot print and no electric motor to fail. I purchased this item when my electric version burned out. The average reload project for me is 100 to 200 rounds at a time over a couple of days. Also I got it at a nice price.

In the picture it shows that it comes with its own case, but it actually doesn't. On top of that it arrived 4 days late compared to when it was supposed too.

This is my second kit only because I screwed up trying to clean the base unit (it still works but might be messy for a while). My bad. I can't imagine trying to prep brass cases without this kit. Took me 30 seconds to decide I needed to order another. I would not try to prep cases without this little kit. The base unit accepts many other tools like brushes and about any threaded tool. Worth it's weight in gold. A must buy, especially for someone new to reloading.

Excellent Product
This tool set is high quality and works great. Highly recommend. I mounted it on a scrap piece of wood and secure it in my bench vice. I drilled holes in the wood to hold the various bits. This set up is small and greatly eases case prep tasks. I wasn't sure if this would be much of an improvement over my various hand tools. This set really makes the tasks a breeze.

It's good enough
If your into hand crank and cheap brass prep equipment this is what your looking for work well comes with multiple cutting heads for different brass the quality is there the only better way to go is motorized.

Great product, works as advertised
Great product, works as advertised, removes military crimps with ease. Comes with large and small primer pocket swager, uniformer, pocket cleaners as well as debuting tools. Highly recommend it you don't want to spend the money on a powered one. All the bits can fit in a drill if you want to speed up the process.
