Great Light! Brightness is superb and also light weight, only problem is you are unable to just buy the light and not the battery and charger which i already have.

Good product. Large heat vents. Needed this feature to dissipate heat considering it is very bright. Not water proof. works well on dry conditions.

The battery would not work.

The light itself is great! Came with battery that would not work. Have another 24v battery so I can use light. Have bought a few Greenworks tools from Amazon but will think twice now. Didn't return because don't trust I would get a good one.

Powerful, Lightweight, Long Lasting, LED Flashlight!

I was very impressed by this Greenworks flashlight. It packs 9 powerful bright LEDs in the lamphead, easily illuminating any space and is way brighter than my old Porter Cable 18V single bulb utility light. The unit is lightweight for the amount of lumens it puts out and is very comfortable to hold. The bright green color makes it easy to find in my bunch of tools. As many have mentioned, it is bright! There are warnings on the housing and in the manual but make sure not to look directly at the light when it's on, it is blinding! I made the mistake of looking at it from an angle and I had floating spots burn in on my eyes for hours. You've been warned! The handle on the top locks in the down position and is useful for hanging in place when opened. There is a spot on the lower handle for a hand strap though that is not included. There are also a few slits and holes on the body which may be just by design, or possibly for ventilation. The battery lasts all day with intermittent use, or at least the 2 hours of constant drain. The power indicator on the battery has 3 lights and is pretty accurate to indicate the amount of battery life left. There is only one button on the flashlight, a finger trigger on the front of the handle. One click turns it on high power, two clicks to medium, three clicks to low, and four clicks it flashes SOS in Morse code which is super useful in an emergency. As an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America, I can vouch that the pattern is indeed "SOS." A fifth click will shut the light off. Thankfully you do not have to scroll through each mode every time. Once the light is on any given mode for a period of time, about a minute, the next click will turn the light off. There is very little noticeable change in brightness between the high, medium and low settings, the only reason I would imagine someone use the lower settings is to preserve battery life. They are all plenty bright. The charger slides on the top of the battery, which I have never seen before, I'm accustomed to the battery sliding onto a charger base, but this way seems to save a lot of space and makes the charger much more portable. In my experience the battery charges from 0 to 100% in just about two hours. My favorite feature about this flashlight is that there is no perceivable battery drain. When the light is at 100% or 1% the brightness is the same, unlike other lights which will fade or dull as the battery goes down. When the battery is depleted, the flashlight will shut off in about a second or two, but for those two seconds, the light will be as powerful as ever. You can use the battery charge indicator to know when you're low on juice. Also a plus is that the 24V battery can be used with several other Greenworks tools. I don't currently have any other products but in the 24V line there are drills, stick vacuums, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers even a chainsaw! This is an excellent product for the price and extremely versatile given the range of devices the battery can power.
