FSA QUALITY ??
This is one of those reviews that was hard to measure . Two issues with the description . Yes I received 10 pieces like said above and paid for , but when I ask if there is 15 pieces based on some reviews I got an answer saying there is 15 pieces as stated in the below description , alittle misleading but not a major issue because I thought I was getting 10 . They are a quality item overall but there is a issue more relevant and important with the description . They are not cold forged steel but aluminum , basic test is they are not attracted to a magnet like the FSA bolts I was going to replace and the likely cause of some breaking issues that some have had . Although FSA states the torque on these bolts is 12 nm or 106 inch pounds but not sure if its for these aluminum bolts or the steel ones . The lazer etching is nice though ..

Love the allen wrench hole instead of slots!
Comes with the star wrench needed for the bolt, while the nut uses a regular allen wrench(much better than the slots on my old set). Also comes with loctite already applied to the threads.

The description is incorrect. This is one set of 5 male end chainring bolts. With two back sets of female ends, one for double chainrings, and the other for triple chainrings I imagine as they're a bit longer. Not two complete sets of double chainring bolts which is what I was expecting to receive based on the title and description.

hard & thick coated thread locker would not budge
chainring bolts are supposed to be an easy/no-frills item to buy and install. this was not. 1. the white etching on the outside looks nice. 2. the pack does come with a small L-shaped torx install tool, but I'd recommend another tool with a longer handle for leverage. 3. the rear nut is a 6mm hex, not a torx, so if you're buying these with the intent of having them not slip due to using hex tools and you don't have a chainring nut wrench, i'd probably just get regular chainring bolts instead. installing these using a hex tool for the rear could slip as it did with my first/only install attempt because of the softer metal of the rear nut. If you plan on using a chainring nut wrench (i do not own one and did not try using one) you may have better luck than i did. i didn't feel like buying a special tool for installing these since I've never had any major problems with regular chainrings (my fault for trying something new and different...) 4. DEAL BREAKER - the preinstalled thread locker was coated so thick and hard (I'm guessing the one I got was in inventory for a while) that 70Nm of torque that I applied could not make it budge and thus could not secure the chainrings to the spider (the chainring bolts' only purpose ). The rear slipped once under that load and it risked rounding the rear nut and that was enough for me to stop using these. I'm in the process of returning these and I ended up using an old set of sram chainring bolts i had laying around from an old crank.

Perfect replacement bolts
Perfect replacement for the originals. If you are buying these, I would assume you own a torque wrench, so use it.

Expensive for what you get!
One of the chain rings bolts was stripped right from the start. Good thing I had 5 for a 4 bolt setup.
