Solid construction built to last; But large loop drop makes inconvenient limits size of container to be filled at counter

This replace our original European-style faucet. We had our entire reverse osmosis system installed and the original replacement cost for the faucet was approximately $300 so I sought out an alternative on Amazon. THE BAD : A drawback with this faucet is that in waste a lot of space with curving up and then dropping down and then it leaves too to be able to put many things under it if they are laying on the counter. For example a full glass can simply slide hundred it can only be tilted. Also any pots even some of the smaller pots need to be dropped into the sink to be filled up with this filtered water if you want to cook with it. For example we also have an electric tea kettle by Black& Decker which easily fit underneath the old one and with this phone I have to hold it as it fills up over the sink because I can't let it rest on the sink bottom because of the electrical contacts I want to keep them dry. Our previous one only went up seven or 8 inches but then curved down maybe an inch or two and sort of projected out when you can then fill glasses of any size most pots and even the kettle. THE GOOD: This truly has solid construction. It won't break after heavy use I can feel it already our spigot broke because just twisting the faucet was too much work for it I suppose. Also a great thing about this in the previous faucet the Half inch water feed line simply connected into the bottom of the faucet and then pass-through bare stainless steel I was surprised myself when I saw that it was so simple. I can see rusty inside and this was likely the reason that my water that should've been showing zero parts per million begin showing that there was deposits in the water. This one has a continuing plastic line inside of the restless stainless steel faucet water is always traveling through PVC plastic and not exposed to the metallic elements. The handle is very sturdy and if young children are using it it gives solid resistance both of the clothes and open position. Also the handle allows for fine-tuning the amount of flow as I use mine with the pump and it moves through at about 80 PSI I can feel a glass and about 3 to 4 seconds but if I want to fill a pot with water to boil I can turn down the dial to stream and walk away for several minutes and come back and It will be full. VERDICT: Definitely worth the money the craftsmanship is excellent but now it doesn't match the rest of my kitchen but I do say that right now my main kitchen faucet has just broken though it's a Grohe claims lifetime warranty and it's extremely hard to get hold of them asking for a receipt when I remodeled seven years ago and my contractor did most of purchases and handed me is lump receipts expecting for me to pay. The major purchases I kept such as the appliances but I need that included simple building materials or could been founded Home Depot I tossed. If they make a kitchen faucet that meets my specifications I would go with this company.

Good but lacks detailed instructions and an important piece!

Purchased this item to replace the leaking water filter faucet that came with our Culligan water filter. I just finished installing it and it was easy, but there is definitely a lack of instructions and pieces. The box does have a diagram on the back with some instructions, but they're filled with typos and grammatical errors and not very helpful. We were also missing a washer that was indicated in the diagram (which actually wasn't important) and also missing was the insert for the compression fitting (which I was able to get from the old faucet and is very important or the hose from your filter won't stay in! You can buy one at the hardware store though) Overall I'd buy this again, but I thought that these details would help anyone else looking to buy a replacement water filter faucet.

A REALLY nice upgrade from the cheap GE and WATTS type filtered water faucets for the price. When my cheap faucet that came with my water filter started leaking, I went to the local big box home improvement store for a replacement, they had two identical faucets to what I had mfg by GE water and Watts, it was $23. After I got home, I looked up the same faucet on amazon and it was <$9. Feeling totally ripped off, I immediately returned the one I bought locally, and thought since I was perfectly willing to spend $23 on a faucet, if there was anything on amazon that was better than the $9 one. I found this faucet, granted it was a little more expensive, but it is BEAUTIFUL, on par with moen/kohler and other high quality kitchen faucets, and the 1/4 turn handle is MUCH nicer than the black plastic lever. I got the brushed nickel one and the finish was second to none.

A nice faucet that works well and seems to last

Works well and looks good even after a few years of use. I had to unscrew the tip a few times to clean it from mineral buildup. Water really shoots out fast so I have to open it slowly when filling a glass or water will get everywhere. It sits next to a much larger Delta faucet that looks nearly identical in style, something like mamma and baby. The delta faucet supplies hot and cold water while Kingston Brass one on supplies filtered cold water. I have a granite countertop and the granite installer drilled a hole through it where I wanted it. Before that it was on a laminate countertop through a hole I drilled myself. If you want it installed through granite, get a pro for it, don't try it yourself.

Important: This faucet comes only with a 1/4 inch compression fitting. That is written in the description somewhere but very small and I must admit I missed it. I was able to purchase the correct adapter to convert it to 3/8 inch standard under sink plumbing, but it would have been good to know that I needed to purchase that up front. The faucet itself is very well constructed of solid brass with good quality chrome plating. It has a quality look and feel and I am confident that it will provide years of good service. I would have given 5 stars if it had 3/8 plumbing fittings or at least an adapter.
