Looks good. Doesn't really fit my Americana Style tub
At first we thought the shower attachment handle did not come with the set. Turns out my contractor had taken it out of the box and set it in the shed. That is why it is missing from the pictures. I have since put the handle on the faucet. This particular faucet set did not come with all the trimmings. I could not find a kit for this. So I bought everything separately. Not all Kingston Brass items were made equal. My contractor had a very hard time getting the intake lines to hook up to the faucet. He had to make several trips to the store to buy adapters. On top of that, and it's not their fault, I have a very old tub. Americana Style. The faucet it's supposed to attach the tub. It does, except it's a little crooked. But I think that's my tub. There are a lot of reviews at state the animal starts coming off right away on the shower attachment. I've used it a handful of times and there does seem to be some chipping on the shower attachment hose. It's a little disappointing.

Stunningly beautiful, well made
I'm refurbishing a 1926 house that came with a clawfoot tub we wanted to salvage. It had a REALLY cheap faucet installed that leaked and pretty much just didn't work at all. We were hoping to restore the clawfoot tub to its full glory, and were willing to splurge on the faucet to make that happen. This faucet is solidly built and just "feels" well made all the way around. No flimsy plastic parts. Looks absolutely gorgeous. Two things keep me from giving it five stars. One is the instruction booklet was dreadful. It honestly seems like there are a couple of pages missing, but if you go to the Kingston Brass website and download the instructions, you get the same incomplete pamphlet. If you have never replaced a faucet before, you are going to be in trouble if you rely on the instructions that come with it. The other is I did have the hot water leg of the faucet leak when I first installed it. I disassembled everything, cleaned the pipe threads, reapplied the teflon tape and even added some plumber's dope, and it still leaked slightly. Only thing I could figure is some of the threads were damaged and just wouldn't seal properly. I called customer service and they shipped me a replacement arm and pipe nipple with no hassles.

Knob missing.
Beautiful tub faucet! Bought this last year after our house flooded during hurricane Harvey. Didn't start finalizing the renovations to one of our guest bathrooms until a week ago. At that time we realized that one of the faucet knobs are missing. We have had this set for about a year so it is too late to return or request the missing piece so I'm going to have to shop around for a knob that matches. Bummer.

I don't know what "sheerness" refers to in the rating but this is a nice faucet set.
Very nice heavy brass set. I am an exhaustive researcher and this faucet was even better up close than while shopping. You get what you pay for and there is not one iota of plastic in the entire assembly.

This was time consuming, but not difficult, to install, and looks fantastic. The flow rate is wonderful, there are no leaks, and it's easy to maintain. The only reason I can't give it the full 5-stars is that the handle of the shower control (the valve that switches from spigot to hand shower) keeps falling off into my tub and chipping the ceramic. Anyone know a good ceramic patch product?

I have not opened but I want to know is this all the parts I need for a double slipper clawfeet Tub? The ones I’m looking at ON AMAZON come with the drain & Stopper! Where can I go in the Dallas area to view a double slipper Tub?

Got this to put on a restored 1913 claw foot tub. Was clear that the plumbers do not see many of these because I had to figure out for them how to attach to the tub. Also called Kingston to make sure that I had the right faucet for my tub. Their support was quite good. Once installed it looks great. This is a big heavy chunk of material, looks and feels solid and rich. A great purchase.
