I wanted to have a victorian/vintage feel in my guest bathroom. I was nervous about this cause the reviews mention toilet paper not fitting well.....I can say this is true when you put a double ply full toilet paper on, however after some use it becomes easy to spin like usual holders...it looks so good in my bathroom that in the end its just not that big of a deal.

Sturdy and Attractive Paper Holder

This holder is sturdy and attractive and works great holding the toilet paper. I wanted it because of the white porcelain trim that matched the faucet I chose for my new bathroom. This one fit the bill perfectly and was easy to install and looks great. It has a nice brushed finish. I really like this. It is easy to clean and doesn't gather fingerprints like shiny chrome would.

Does not extend far enough from the wall to accommodate a full roll of tissue paper.

This item is sturdy and looks nice. But the problem is it doesn't extend far enough from the wall to hold a new full role of toilet paper. I can't use it until I've removed some of the tissue paper so that it can easily rotate. I have never experienced this before with a toilet paper holder. I've installed about ten of them in all the different places I've lived. It coordinates perfectly with the matching towel racks and robe hooks. I would have sent it back had I not wanted to match these other items in our bathroom. I feel sort of stuck with it.

Horrible customer service

We ordered Kingston brass towel holders and toilet paper holders for our new home that was being built. We moved into our new home in July 2020 and within two weeks the holder for the toilet paper broke. The nut on the inside of the tube came off and there is no way to attach it back on. I reached out to Kingston several times, but received no response. For the price we paid for this holder we expect them to acknowledge a customer who was sold a defective item. Do not buy from this company! They charge an outrageous price for their products and dont stand by them!

It is beautiful, but after only two months of use

It is beautiful, but after only two months of use, the spring mechanism in the bar broke. It is not usable as is. I have contacted the company for a replacement. Update-- I emailed and left voice messages at the company and got new response. I finally got a person on the phone and they told me that Kingston Brass doesnt have a warranty on 'accessories' and they do not have any replacement parts. I have to go through Amazon to get a replacement. Amazon came through and are sending me an new holder. I hope this one doesnt break.
