My favorite mobile!!!

The media could not be loaded. This is my favorite empty mobile to make ypur own custom mobile! I have purchased it multiple times! It is super easy to assemble, very easy to slide pictures into the circle loops or loop fishing line through the loops to attach whatever you want to hang, and is a pretty large size! The price is great, too! Moves well if there is a breeze and the silver tone finish hasn't changed a bit! I I would recommend this mobile for lighter items only, if you are hanging beads or felt balls I'm not sure how much weight you could put on it before the ribs would begin to bend slightly.

Nice design, not that sturdy

I love this design and have placed postcards on each clip. The mobile feels very flimsy so you would have to stick to very light items.

A perfect addition to my art now in copper.

I buy these mobiles regularly as I use them for my art. I would say that I have purchased at least 20 of these mobiles in silver and 4 in copper. I create large paper filigree designs to hang from these mobiles. I even bought tools and supplies to make my own mobiles and the price that you pay to get the Kikkerland mobile is so much easier and cost effective than making my own, especially when it comes to copper. I'm sure if I had endless time to learn how to create the perfect mobile I could do it cheaper but it is not a skill I need to master thanks to these mobiles and the superb price that you can get them for. I am a Kikkerland mobile lover forever. I have yet to find a product that comes close to doing what Kikkerland does at the low prices that the mobiles carry. I'll be honest and admit that I have never used these for photos but I can only imagine they are perfect for photos. The picture is some of my work hanging from the copper mobile, I apologize for the blurry picture but it's because the mobiles move so easily which is a huge plus.

Meh. Cheap product and it didn't work for my needs.

I got this mobile to display the Wee Gallery art cards for my baby's nursery. First, some more info that's hard to suss out from the product description: 1. The clips for the photos are just spiral wires, like paper clips. They didn't work for my heavy weight cards. 2. There is nothing (I mean nothing!) included for actually hanging the mobile, so you'll have to go to the hassle of getting to the hardware store. So, what you get for your money is basically just a flimsy set of wires. You have to do a bit to put it together and the instructions are on the outside of the box, making it hard to save them. Also, once you get it together, it won't stay together very well unless you take matters into your own hands with a set of pliers. Amazon and lots of other places recommend the Kikkerland mobiles for the Wee Gallery cards. I haven't tried the other one but I think it suffers from a lot of the same problems (though it seems to have alligator clips...alas, reviewers complain that they damage photos). Those problems are: 1. Clips don't fit the cards. 2. No way to attach to a crib. You're on your own to suspend from ceiling (hard for me since I have 15ft ceilings). 3. This one is probably too big for a crib. A judgment call, but basically it's large enough that it would be hard to put the baby in the crib without it always being in the way. 4. Nothing about this product screams quality or longevity. It's really just a bare bones set of wire. Irritating to write this because I don't have a better recommendation. I think I'm going to try to MacGyver my own using a crib clamp and some parts from an old Umbra Fotofalls I have (which has Alligator clips sans teeth). Frustrating cause I'd rather just buy something that works.

Just plain fun.

So fun. I double sided pics so I was able to put up 20. It’s my pandemic year mobile with pics & cartoons. You can put up whatever size pics you can fit. I can see that a filled one could be a great gift, also.

Unique and Unexpected

I bought this a while back to add some life to a new office I was moving into at work. In my work we produce a number of small colorful direct mail promotional pieces that I thought would be interesting to display with this mobile. I switch the pieces in and out when we have new materials. It looks amazing and all of my coworkers love to stop by to see what's new. I even have staff send me items their department has worked on so I can "showcase" them in my mobile. Its free form style is interesting and it's interesting in content because you can change the images as often as you wish. The mobile is a unique conversation piece. It gives movement to a room and provides something unexpected, which is its greatest feature.

Good product

Looks good, One of the photo holders wasn't double wrapped so I had to use pliers to twist it round to create the grip for a photo to slot in. Easy to do, but three stars because of the faff.

The plain silver is better as the copper color seems to be sprayed on. Some of the clips won't open because the coating has glued them closed. I have 5 of these that are plain silver and by the number I own it is obvious that they are really fun. Can be used with many things other than photos. Great for small children creating their own artwork mobile Hang crystals, artificial blooms and leaves........... Just avoid the copper ones.

Good product! considering buying another!

Love!! Good quality and easy to disconnect and the-assemble if you want to change the hangin formation. I did this because I wanted more layered effect, and not all items hainging at same height.

Extremely flimsy. You’d have a better quality and stronger mobile to twist some old style wire coat hangers and make your own. Some of the ‘clips’ don’t even make a full rotation so can’t hold a photo. I tried to have this rotate on a small motor and it just keeps falling apart. The was also the only product I paid quicker shipping for and it was the last to arrive.
