We love these adorable Dachshunds.

The holes for the salt and pepper are a little big. I used a piece of tape (on the inside) to cover about half of the hole. It works perfectly. We've had many compliments on them. Price was excellent for the value. These would make a great gift.

Small

Cute but extremely small. They are much smaller than most salt & pepper shakers. This was a gift for someone, so it was very disappointing. We had to purchase an additional gift to go with it.

BUT they really are more decorative than actually useful..

These have been a smash sitting on my kitchen counter, everyone notices them and LOVES them, BUT they really are more decorative than actually useful... I have had a really hard time getting salt and pepper to actually come out of them..they need additional holes for the salt and pepper on the top... i thought I had it over filled, so i emptied a good amount but still have the same problem. Also one of the guys has a foot that was not leveled correctly so he will not stand up- I have to lean him on the side or on the other little fellow for him to stay upright which is a bummer... it they had some fabric on the bottom on their feet to grip, i think that would be helpful, might add some myself. Overall, very cute but defeats the purpose if i still have to have regular salt and pepper shakers on stand-by

Hilarious But a Bit Too Small

If you're reading reviews about these then you've already decided that they're both adorable and hilarious, so I don't feel I need to convince anyone of these fundamental truths. They are smaller than I expected them to be, and that's about my only complaint. They do function just fine but they need to be refilled more often than I'd prefer. Likely they will soon become more decoration than functional kitchen utensils.

Chipped.

Expensive for what it is. They look cute but mine came chipped and marked and the holes to fill are halfway down the back making it impossible to fill fully when they're already small.
