A Dream house for little girls!!

Our 2 year old granddaughter was so excited!! She wouldn't hardly play with any other toy she got for Christmas. She plays with it almost every day. It is a beautiful house and the accessories aren't cheaply made. It's a great set!!

We got a used one shipped albeit ordered a new. Aside from this, it was easy to assemble and is giving joy.

My granddaughter loved it.

It took several adults a couple of hours to assemble, but it was not particularly difficult, just somewhat complex. The included furniture is very sturdy, but the house itself could be stronger in some places. We had to grease elevator before my granddaughter could work it herself. But she was thrilled with it’s look and versatility, and started playing with it right away.

Love it

My daughter (3 years old) plays with this for hours! Was not hard to put together, took about 2 to 2.5 hours. Its nice and tall so theres room to grow with it. Barbies fit pretty well in it. Would recommend and worth the money

3 hours to assemble; barbie/LOL doll sized

The directions are horrible. I had to Google/YouTube videos with the assembly instructions and it still took me about 3 hours. On the plus side, I needed only one small tool (screwdriver) and once I understood the actual instructions, the building was fun. My kids LOVE this thing. Perfectly sized for barbie and L.O.L. dolls. I bought it when the price dropped under $80 so this was an awesome, really big, gift that is ???? recommended.

Worth it!

I'm one of those handy people who can put together anything, the directions for this dollhouse are not good, like at all. The first 5 pieces set the stage for everything and the pictures are very confusing, make sure each piece is facing the right way, they'll still go together the wrong way but when you get to the next page you won't be able to proceed. Once I got through that it was still tedious, some of the holes don't line up perfectly for those weird little things that the screws lock into, I cursed a few times lol But it was worth it in the end, the dollhouse is huge and sturdy, the furniture is super cute and she was thrilled with it. That's all that matters!

As adorable in person as in ad

One star deducted due to missing part. The most important part (front of roof) was missing in the shipment. After speaking with the Kidkraft customer service the part was shipped same day and arrived in time to save Christmas for a four year old girl. Cust. Service Agent was extremely helpful. Also of note, make sure you don't drop a screw.....they give EXACTLY the required number, no extras.

Perfect gift for 4 year old

It took me a couple of hours to put this together. The directions were just diagrams, but was very easy to understand. Some of the pre-drilled holes in pieces didn't line up with other pieces; for example the plastic piece on the elevator was not correct; and the elevator is difficult to raise/lower. It isn't as sturdy as the same brand/style I bought a few years ago for a different grand-daughter Pressed wood and pressed cardboard. The included accessories were a bonus. The kid loved it, and I expect it to last a few years as long as they aren't trying to climb on it. It is very cute.

Excellent Dollhouse

Thrilled with this - solid materials, looks fantastic. My husband assembled it for our granddaughter without a hitch. A dream for any little girl who likes to play with dolls.

Good size, good looking & sturdy

This doll house was delivered today and it took me about 1.5 hours to put it together alone. I'm quite good with my hands so if my kids weren't trying to mess with the pieces and left me to it, I would have been able to finish it within an hour for sure. 1 person can definitely fix this with no help. That said, my kids love this doll house. It is a good size coz both my kids (6 & 3) can stand side by side and play together. My 6 year old kept saying "Amazing!!" and "Yay!!!". They played together and separately too. It's a very sturdy doll house and looks great with quite a few pieces of furniture + accessories. My kids have put their barbies, other little dolls and pieces from other sets + Mickey and Minnie mouse in this. I hope this doll house will help keep them busy and save me during these 2 weeks of Easter school holidays. LOL!! Explains why I made that next day delivery :))

Give yourself sufficient time to build it but it's worth the effort.

My husband built this a week before Christmas as a result of reading reviews saying bits were missing. In fact It was absolutely complete and whilst he is quite handy with a screwdriver he is by no means an expert but he found it quite easy to assemble, though not a quick fix. It took him 2-3 hours. The end result is an apparently very robust and well designed piece of kit. Much better than the plastic fantastic Barbie houses. My daughter asked for a Barbie house for Christmas and I'm glad I went for this rather than the Barbie branded version.

Box opened and parts scratched

Box came open and parts were scratched. In the pictures it shows as if the elevator can stay up, but if you are not holding it, it falls really fast and loud.
