Warm and comfortable

My husband has a new job driving a truck doing construction delivery. He often walks through snow and sometimes stands outdoors in the frigid MN winter for 1-2 hours at a time before driving to a new location. I bought him the Keen insulated safety boots after reading many reviews. Much to my surprise, he simultaneously ordered himself 2 other brand name boots to try (Carhartt and Timberland). And we had a 3 way battle!!! Initial thoughts on Keens - they are a little clunky looking due to thick, sturdy soles but the top of the boot is otherwise nice-looking. The size 13 fits him well (my husband’s typical size) but he did comment on the very generous width of the toe box. He has a medium width foot.Perhaps a narrow-footed person would think the boot too wide? The Keen boot was also the heaviest of the 3, and my husband briefly felt it might be difficult to wear while driving. But the warmth and comfort - “WAY MORE COMFORTABLE” - won him over. He kept the Keens and has had no probs driving his big truck. Although it might be difficult to drive while in a reclined seat in a sedan? He hasn’t tried this. So far the boots have been snow proof but he hasn’t walked through deep water. Recommend!

Fit like a glove

Excellent quality boot. They fit so perfectly, I almost mistaken them for being too small. I have never had a pair of boots fit like a glove before. Aside from the fit, the quality is outstanding! This is my new boot for life, will buy a 2nd pair soon! They are a bit heavier than expected and warmer than I anticipated. Neither of which are a bad thing. Excellent boots for my flat roofing work!

sewing was bad on one boot

This is my second pair of boots. Same boot same size the problem with this set is the shoestring clip at the midway up boot has been sewed incorrectly and is tearing my top of my ankle. I can hardly make it a day without ripping open my wound threw my sock. I would wear my other pair every day and liked them so much I ordered this last pair. I am going to have to find a different pair of boots. Quality control should ware these for a day and see how they like it! oh and should have to pay over $200 for the pain.

Must read honest review.

2 months old. 6'5" 240# Im a mechanic/welder at a wood burning power plant. Inside and outside work daily. Lots of walking. It gets 30 below sometimes where I live (its been pretty mild this year). My feet sweat a lot. Haven't been cold in these boots yet. The ice traction technology works good but I tried them on black ice they slid around pretty easy. Very warm boot VERY WARM. One of my knees is smoked wicked pain daily. I do 10 hour days in these no problem. I used to buy redwing. I'm looking at buying keens for the summer months now. They seemed a little heavy when I first got them but there so comfortable I don't notice. Highly recommended!

So far so good. 3 weeks on a crossdock at 20'F

It's quite warm, I can't use my wool socks yet. It does get slightly chilly but I wouldn't say cold after 6 hours due to sweat, but straight toasty up until then. Quality seems nice, but I can't say how resilient they truly are or how long theyll last. The calf area was rough as hell and left mad chafing at first, and I walked weird, but now it's good. I'm very satisfied so far, no more cold feet. :)

Great warm winter Workboot.

Very stiff in ankle at first. Took just a few days to break in. They are perfect for me. A little heavy but solid boots. Protective and warm. They seem to get a little dirty fast so if you want some for a fashion show these probably aren’t the ones for you. Very happy. Also they don’t have the look of the high heeled loggers. Some of them appear to go well with fishnets. Lol.

Son rústicos

Se ve muy rústicos parece un tanque de guerra un poco pesado pero me parece bien para la capacidad de protección lo único que criticó y realmente no lo he de las cinco estrellas es porque simplemente el cuero vino como que si estuviera golpeado o rayado no se ve como nuevo pero de resto se siente cálido no como decían en otra reseña qué calentaba muchísimo no es cierto pero si calienta lo suficiente para estar cómodo lo que sí necesitaría una plantilla más cómoda todavía
