I just absolutely love the pattern Out Foxed with the cute deer, bear, rabbit, squirrel, and fox on it! I'm an animal person, so this fits my personality well! I love the Out Foxed pattern so much that I bought the same pattern in the Kavu rope bag as well as the Sydney Satchel! This is the cutest bag ever! I am a big fan of Kavu bags and have purchased a few of them over the years. I love the outdoorsy look, the canvas/cotton material and how the quality of the bag lasts forever! This is my very first satchel from Kavu, however! All my other Kavu bags are the sling rope bags which I love to take with me to the park, shopping, or hiking! They never hurt my back like most other bags do. As for the Kavu Sydney Satchel, it is easy to wear as crossbody on my little 5 ft frame! It's so easy to adjust and wear on your shoulder or crossbody. The Satchel is a perfect size and not too big or small. I love how it hugs the side of my body and how it stays in place while walking. I do tend to cram my bags full, so having a bag that can handle the weight and doesn't hurt my back is very important to me! ps.. The colors are great on the Out Foxed pattern! It's like a cream tan with a neat neon orange/pink zippers. I honestly cannot tell you whether it's orange or pink. Sorry, I'm a bit color blind. However, I love the tan with the neon and think they compliment each other very well! However, I do not think everyone will love the neon as much as I do! Amazon's image of the satchel doesn't show the neon orange/pink color very well. The bag looks so much cuter in person than in the photo I think! But if you do not like neon colors, you most likely will not like this bag! Because it is a very bright and bold color that only adds to it, in my opinion!

Time to buy another one
The price is a little bit expensive, but it's everything I wanted in a purse and well worth it. This is a good bag for a girl that likes to travel, likes the out doors, needs something practical and organized. I've used this purse several times for traveling. I find it to be a very secure purse with three zippers. A large zipper on the front, the zipper for the main compartment, and a small zipper on the back. The large pocket on the front has a clip on the inside where you can store your keys, or maybe attach a cell phone. The main pocket is very spacious and has another small zippered pocket (big enough to fit two passports), along with two open pockets that are big enough to hold a smart phone in each pocket. the fabric is made of thick canvas that is stitched very well, the hard ware is metal and has help up well (no chipping or peeling), and all the pockets are lined with nylon which is nice in case it rains, your items stay dry. It's a medium sized bag, but it can hold quite a few things. Big enough for books, a water bottle, a large make-up case, a small dog dish, fruit like bananas and oranges etc. The only downside is that the color fades. I bought this bag in black, but after toting it around in the sun for a couple of years it's faded on the strap, around the zippers, and now slightly on the body of the bag. Overall, a really great purse though. Time for a new one ;)

Fun bag, zipper color not as pictured.
I'm a big fan of crossbody bags and I like this one. It's a good size; plenty of room for everything I need but not so big I start accumulating and lugging around stuff I don't need. I like that it has an easy access pocket in the front for my phone and keys. The shark bait print is fun up close and looks almost like a wavy navy stripe from a distance, which I like. The reason I contemplated sending it back is the zipper color. It looked in the photos like an orange sherbet color. I fully expected it to be a bright contrast, but in person it's overwhelmingly neon. Like an orange highlighter. I think I'm going to embrace it and keep the bag, but I don't think the photos really give you a sense of the zipper color.

Only complaint...zippers
I love this purse because its simple and the outside material feels durable, making it perfect to use day-to-day or for outdoor activities (has a lot of room inside). I purchased this purse and black so that it would pair easily with different outfits. Lint is more noticeable since its black but I don't have an issue with it. My only complaint is that the zippers can get hung on up on the fabric pockets of the purse. So far i have been able to pull the fabric from the zipper without tearing the purse. Updating my review, the zipper to the inside pocket of the purse is now off track. The zipper always would get hung up on fabric of the purse and the last time it happened, the zipper was taken off track in the process.

A little smaller than I hoped for, but I like it.
This bag is super cute and seems very durable, but it's just a little smaller than I wanted. I do enjoy the pockets...I have my phone in the back zipper, keys in the front zipper, and my toiletries (admittedly not many) are in the interior zipper. Still have two open pockets inside that are unoccupied. Shape is a little awkward for where I like to wear it. My old bag (another brand) used to kind of mold itself around my hip bone. This one, probably because it's smaller and holding all my stuff, retains it's shape a little too well. It's still cute on, though. I've got other Kavu bags that I use occasionally, and they're still in very good shape. Hopefully this one will hold up to daily use.
