This Kate Spade mug is perfect for those of us who like a thinner rim on our mug

I love the fact that this mug has a thinner rim than most mugs. It is easy to wrap my hand around, as well, making this the perfect mug for coffee or tea.

Plates are too big

A bowl came in broken. Also, beware - the description does not say how big the plates are. I assumed they'd be regular dinner size, but they are not. The dinner plate is 11+ inches so it does not fit in my dishwasher. Very disappointed.

Chic and contemporary 4-piece place setting! Lovely!

This Kate Spade New York Charlotte Street North Grey 4 piece place setting is just lovely. I have yet to encounter a Kate Spade product that I don't like. There's something about the style of her product lines that just nail it for chic and fresh looks, each and every time. At the same time, the styles are also timeless, and will never go out of fashion. This 4-piece place setting did not disappoint. While this may seem pricey for a mere 4 pieces, the quality is fantastic for this set. I love the contemporary style of the light grey stripes with the small grey squares, and it looks like someone just freshly painted the set in true art-like fashion. It has an airy, uptown feel to the whole set, and it's made from ceramic porcelain that is also dishwasher safe. The larger plate and the bowl boast a different pattern of small grey squares around their edges that is color coordinated with the smaller striped plate and the striped coffee mug, and they all tie in together nicely, while adding fun variety. I also like that the coffee mug is of a bigger size than some standard sets like this - it will hold 12 oz, so you can get a decent cuppa in the morning. This would make a very tasteful wedding gift (shower or otherwise), housewarming gift, or just a nice gift to treat yourself! This 4-piece set arrives in a pretty gift box that has the Kate Spade name (with the spade icon logo) on it that will certainly impress the receiver from the get-go. The hard work is done for you - all you have to do is slap a chic bow on it, and you're all done! This is a lovely set that deserves all 5 stars!

Grey/White & Geometrical Pattern Is Trendy Yet Classic, Practical For Everyday & Entertaining

This Kate Spade Charlotte North Grey place setting is made by Lenox. It’s a fresh and modern looking 4-piece place setting for one that includes a dinner plate, salad plate, bowl and mug. Grey and white decor is so popular right now that this contemporary and stylish place setting is spot on. The muted geometric pattern mixes stripes and dots and is modern and fun. The dinner plate and bowl have the dots while the salad plate and mug have the stripes, and all pieces compliment each other well. I love the sizing of the pieces and especially the generous bowl for cereal or soup and the 14 oz.mug. The mug handle and lip have a nice feel, and I enjoy drinking my morning coffee from it. The plates are large but are styled like traditional china with larger rims that reduce the plating surface. This place setting is fresh and playful, but it also has classic elements to the design and can fit into a modern or traditional setting. The colors are so neutral that any color can be used as an accent with this pattern. These porcelain dishes looks well made and are a pleasure to use. The glaze is nonporous and smooth, and all pieces are symmetrical and strong. These are enjoyable as everyday dishes and also practical being both dishwasher and microwave safe. At the same time, it’s an upscale and high quality setting that can be used for entertaining too. I’m sure a couple place settings would be an extremely well-received gift to a young couple (or anyone) with the modern design and popularity of Kate Spade items. Love it. Made in Indonesia. 5 stars.

Cute, But Too Steep for Everyday at My House

Stuff to know: -This is a handsome and subtle 4 piece set of dish ware. - It comes beautifully packaged. There is also a Lenox stamp on the box, which was a happy surprise. -The dishes are ok. I find the bowl to be a bit on the small side. -It does indicate that it’s microwave and dishwasher safe. -I can’t get over the price point. As expensive as these are (compared to what my family uses daily), I’d be afraid to serve my children dinner on this. BUT, it’s certainty not fine china. I’m confused. I guess at the end of the day, these are probably best-suited for a young couple (affluent, even) who doesn’t need to worry about their 8 yo chipping the salad plate by “helping” in the kitchen. I’m kind of scared to use these.

Beautiful, functional, and Kate Spade-Who could ask for anything more?

The Kate Spade New York Charlotte Street North Grey 4 Piece Place Setting is gorgeous, for yourself, family or for that perfect gift. My Husband and I married when we were older, and chose to not select a wedding china when we married. We have been using what we had before we were married ever since. This means that we have a hodgepodge of different styles of dinner plates, salad dishes, coffee cups and soup dishes. This blends in perfectly with the different styles we already have, and adds to our artful and unusual decor. All of the pieces in this set are high quality. Please note the size of the two plates in the picture provided, I felt both could be used for entrees. The mug is what I like best about this set. It is oversized, and just perfect for your overly large cup of coffee-for those of us who are coffee addicts or who have them in our family this is great. This can also be used for soup or chill. The bowl is of the usual size for a salad or for a bowl of soup and microwaves well. I have washed these by hand and in the dishwasher and have noticed no problems with sensitivity or breakage at this time. The gray pattern is very attractive, and will be liked by most people and will match most color schemes. I really loved this. This would be great to register for at an upcoming wedding. If you would also just like to replace some of your place settings and want a change, this would be great too. The price is right in my opinion for Kate Spade. I highly recommend.
