Effortlessly Control Your Lights with this UL Certified Smart Switch - No Hub Required!
I recently purchased the Kasa Smart Light Switch HS200P3, and I must say that I am highly satisfied with this product. I purchased a used - like new condition in April 2023, and it works perfectly. One of the best things about this smart light switch is its easy installation process. The switch does not require a hub, and it works with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. All you need is a neutral wire, and you can easily replace your existing light switch with the Kasa Smart Light Switch HS200P3. The installation process took me only a few minutes, and I did not need any special tools or equipment. Another great feature of this smart light switch is its compatibility with Alexa and Google Home. I can easily control the lights in my home using voice commands, which is both convenient and efficient. Additionally, the Kasa Smart Light Switch HS200P3 is UL certified, which gives me confidence that it is a high-quality product that meets safety standards. I have been using this switch for several days now, and I have not experienced any issues or malfunctions. Overall, I highly recommend the Kasa Smart Light Switch HS200P3 to anyone looking to upgrade their home with smart home technology. The switch is easy to install, works with Alexa and Google Home, and is UL-certified, ensuring safety and quality. If you're looking for a reliable and efficient smart light switch, this is the one to go for.

I now have 6 installs and not a single problem
Summary: They work as intended. They get a little warm next to each other. Works with Google. Made in: Vietnam Instructions: Video installation available. Nice, color diagrams. Materials: Typical plastic construction. Slightly whiter and thinner than Leviton 15-amp rocker switch. Details: I replaced nearly all of my old ivory toggle switches with rocker style switches. I put 6 of these and 6 of the 3-ways in at various locations. There is a slight color difference between the Leviton switches and these. They also seem to be a thinner plastic in their feel. The photo I included shows the smart switch on the left and the Leviton on the right. I was tring to do a comparison of the snap on faceplate would like also. I did not install any of the included snap on plates. They look nice but I wasn't going to do that for all of my covers, so I left them off here. Integration to Google home was pretty simple. I already had my Kasa account tied to Home, I just needed to add the new switches. I found if I put "light" in the name, I received better responses from Google. For instance I had one of them labeled as "Front door", but when I said to turn on front door, it didn't like it, but when I changed it to "Front door light", I've had no further problems. I do like that I can control them from anyway also. I have some cameras in my house to watch our dogs, but I can also see when someone has left a light on and then turn it off remotely (ULTIMATE DAD MODE ACTIVATED). Overall, I'm happy with these, the 3-way switches and the 8 or so smart outlets I've installed.

Let there be light, it's simple as that.
Once you started making your place a smart home, there's no turning back, in a good way. You'll be able to control lights simply by telling your smart speaker or phone to do it for you. When it comes to smart lighting, there are two ways: light switch or light bulb. Having both in my home, I'm saying this is likely a better way for smart lighting. No more telling your guest not to turn off the switch, or frustratingly reconnecting the light bulb. It fits the human instinct better, and it's likely the easiest way to make lighting smart. It's more cost effective to replace a switch than a series of light bulb, especially when they're connected to the same single light switch.

A Must Have For Your House
I was looking up different brands of smart light switches and stumbled upon the TP-Link Kasa Smart Switch, let me just say, it was definitely worth it for the price. Set up took less than 7 minutes in total, and the app was very easy to use. The lights can be controlled with your Phone, Google Home, and Alexa which is very nice and convenient. I recommend using the IFTTT app as well for more integration with other smart home products you might have.

Easy install, easy setup
I have paddle switches in the house and this matches them perfect. There were no instructions for the install other then downloading the app. It was a very easy and straight forward install after finding the correct breaker to shut the power off. Step one of any electrical component replacement. I was able to easily splice into the white neutral. Connected the green to ground. The line and load wires both went to the black wires. The switch was labeled on the back with the wire colors. Once I powered it up, an indicator light was on and flashing orange. I installed the Kasa app and within 2 minutes it was connected and working perfect. It immediately performed a firmware update and continued to work perfect. I was also able to connect it to Alexa without any problem. When its off, there is an indicator or night light so you can see the switch at night. I love this switch and cant wait to install the other two I bought.

I love these things
I've tried many different types of smart switches and bond applications. These ones work best with my Alexa. Both the Kasa switches and plugs are my go-to favorite at this point. Power outages, internet outages, random Tuesday, doesn't matter. They don't have connectivity issues like all of my other apps and products do. Even my Alexa struggles more with staying connected at times than these things do. Absolutely love them and am switching my whole house over to these things.

Must have if you have children or are married.
Pros 1) if you forgot to turn lights of when you leave you can turn off remotely 2) cost, avg of 15$ each depending, it’s not going to break the bank 3) easy integration into Alexa 4) seeing as im the one who pays the electric bill in my house, naturally no one cares about what gets left on and how much it can cost. The runtime feature on the device allows you to watch and see how much actual time the light is on for daily. Very very helpful in creating smart routines to shut it off automatically, or save money on your electricity bill. I know 1 lightbulb isn’t a large amount of money per month specially being LED bulbs… however when you start adding it up to 4,5, 6 bulbs it adds up quickly. 5) can be tied to smart routines in Alexa, for example turn on front porch light if your doorbell cam sees motion between certain hours in the day 6) UL listed, approved for use in North America. Being an electrician by trade this is a deal breaker, if it didn’t have this certification I wouldn’t install it. Amazon has their own brand of very similar switches but lack this certification. Cons- 1) requires a neutral… this can be a large pain especially in older homes where they typically ran a lot of switch lines. Not a huge issue if you are an electrician by trade or very savvy DIY’er but it may involve re-running some cables and laying out circuits slightly different 2) depending how many devices are on your network you may have to consider installing a hub. I’m at 10 devices now with 1 hub and everything works beautifully

Great Product, Easy Install and Works Very Well
Replaced a number of light switches with these Kasa smart switches, installation was the same as to installing an ordinally switch, downloaded the Kasa app and the initial setup was simple and easy to follow. I set up schedule to turn on/off my porch lights at sunset/sunrise and has been working very well. I also setup group to turn on/off group of lights. Great Product!

Works great, easy to install and budget friendly
I used to have Wemo switches and a dimmer and finally decided to get rid of them due to all the headaches with losing wifi. Bought the Kasa switches and dimmer and I'm so glad I made the switch. They're easy to install, easy to setup and easy to use.

Easy to install and works well
Setting up smart actions for the switch control is pretty straight forward and the switches work well in general with or without the app. The one thing that would've been nice to see is if these switches functioned more like regular decora switches where you push on the top of the paddle to turn on and bottom paddle to turn off. These operate by pushing the bottom paddle to switch on and off.

I had no trouble installing and adding devices to my alexa devices. Definitely a need for someone who wants to make his home smart.
