Beautiful little stand

I love that it can be placed in or outside cage. Also love the fact that it has screw mounts to attach to cage with a little stand for outside of cage or juts a little more support. Love it!

Decent but my keet slips off of it.

I’m really sad this didn’t work out. It’s cute, easy to clean, but my bird slips off and falls off of it. I can’t tell if it is the playground itself or my parakeet. My keet had his wings cut way to short and also is missing a toe as he is a rescue that was found in the bushes Although he never falls off his perches, which has made me fell like it’s more so how this is made. Also it could use a swing. It’s decent for the price but really small. Overall I couldn’t use it because the keet falls off and can’t stay on it when trying to move around.

A Very Good Purchase That Lasts

I have a green cheek conure who absolutely loves to destroy his toys. This is the third JW Pet Company Activitoys Play Gym that I have purchased for him, and I do not regret it. I usually replace this play gym for him, about every 5 years. This thing lasts! The best part about this is the material that this is made with. It is easily washable by giving it a quick rinse or two, under running water. This is easy to set up. The only thing I wish this would contain a spare or two of, is the bell that comes with it. My parrot loves to remove the clapper from the bell, as long as the little beads that dangle from the bell. To date, he has removed them all.

Pieces can break easily, but my boys love it.

This is the 3rd one I have bought for my parakeets. After the last one broke I bought a wooden one but after 6 months with it on top of their cage they would not get on it. I had to break down and get them this one again. They love it. I put grit in one of the cups and oat groats in the other. I also put a little bird bath tub on it. They spend the day out of their cage on the top.

Recommend as a supplementary gym, not a bird’s only gym.

Another illogical mindless bird toy purchase on my part. I think I’m part parrot, show me a shiny bird toy and I obsesse over it until I give in and buy the dang thing. This is their 5th play gym. I have no complaints about it. Arrived complete and undamaged. Assembly is easy and the birds have taken to it without fear. If you want a gym to add more activity to your bird’s set up this is good for small/parakeets. If you have no other gym or play items go with/buy one of the wood sets, try to get one not dyed as the coloring needs to be rinsed off before you assemble the gym. Same goes for wood color toys IMO. I you find you can’t live without getting this to add to the endless play spots your bird has, go for it.

Base is too small

It’s nice but the base is too small and everything is way too condensed. The food/water dish is unusable since it’s placed under a perch. If they sit on any perch close to the edge, facing the center, I’m positive the poop won’t be on the tray. This may be for birds even smaller than budgies..

Good idea, but failed in the execution

I have a cockatiel that comes to work with me, so I wanted a play gym for her, that didn't require too much room, in that sense this fits the bill. The 3 problems I see is that the seed/water holders are too shallow, I know birs are going to make a bit of a mess, but since they holders are so shallow they can't contain too much and what they do hold is easily spilled. The other thing is that the pieces for the bird to stand or climb are a bit too thin, so the bird doesn't feel 100% secure. The third problem I see is that the lader is completely vertical, it has no slant, they tried to go around this by off setting the steps but in my opinion it's not going to work as intended because the steps are too small and do not protrude enough. The good side, the base desn't require much space, the plastic I don't think will be easily chewed away. I uploaded a couple of photos and a quick video. Hope this helps!

Bird activty

Had bought one of these before for my budgies. It gives them something else to play on other than the usual swings and perches. they are never off it play on it also they seem happier also gives them something else to do.

Very small

I have a linnie and two american budgies that I bought this for and it's a little small for them. This gym generally looks about canary sized. They still enjoy it and the price is fantastic compared to other playstands. The only reason I am giving this 4 instead of 5 stars is because some of the pieces don't quite fit together and it leaves some areas less stable than I like - particularly the perch area over the mirror. Overall it's a fantastic deal for the price and super easy to take apart and clean.

Very nice product, but my budgies dont use the two step ladders :( They only walk around, eat, and play with the mirror..probably because they are divas. Overall great and cute playground!
