My Parrot's Favorite Toy

I have a 36 year old Blue Front Amazon Parrot, that is quite fussy about toys. I have had Rico since he was one year old. I have tried hundreds of different toys throughout the years, and there have been only 2 he likes and plays with; this is one of them. He works on it several times a day, every day. He literally destroys it in about 1/2 a month, and loves getting a new one. One of his favorite accomplishments is to make it fall to the bottom of his cage by unhooking the bell from the chain. I then reattach it differently, and he continues to work at it. He goes through about 25 of these toys each year in a variety of colors, so I buy them in bulk. He starts whistling when he hears a new one coming out of the storage cabinet. (The other toy he likes has been discontinued, and I used up my inventory of them.) Please don't ever discontinue making these!

My amazon loves it. I use it as a foraging toy. the bell sounds soft.

The rubber is stretchable and there are two sizes of hexagon-shaped holes, which allow to put things inside. I put some old vine corks and some wood chips on the bottom, large enough to create some volume that the food doesn't fall out. As a snack I put the unsweetened banana chips on the top. Longer shelled peanuts would work too. I wish the holes on the bottom would be a little bit smaller, but the toy still works well with banana chips. I was expecting my amazon to shred it, so I bought two of them. So far, he is enjoying pulling the snacks out with shredding. And I know when my bird is working on it, because I could hear a bell. The bell sound is perfect, not loud at all, but still could hear it.

Cute and well made

I have the large dog toy version of this for our two great danes and 7 years later they still love it and play with it! I saw this tiny, super cute version with the chain for hanging and the little bell inside for ringing and thought our 37 year old amazon parrot would love it just as much. Haha instead of hol-ee roller my bird was more like hol-ee sh** what is that!!?? Haha he does love bells so I'm sure after he gets used to it he will love this as much as he does his other toys. Like the hol-ee roller toy for dogs this is very well made and seems like it will also stand up to biting and tugging. Easy to put treats inside for foraging and the bell makes a delicate ring that is easily heard but pleasant to hear, especially when you're watching TV or reading. I received this in a very pretty blue color.

It's hard to get my parrot toys. It's a hit or miss and these she loves them. I might have bought close to 10 of these so far lol

My cockatiel loves this toys.I fill it with millet.But only 2 sprigs at a time as millet is high in fat.You can push the millet through one hole & it comes out the other side through another.It reminds me of a kur plunk game. My bird spends ages nibbling away.There is also a bell that is inside that rings.Excellent toy.You could fill it will shredded paper too.Would recomend highly

Parrot toy

I bought this toy to put my parrots treats in and he loves it. The toy is very well made and the holes are large enough to put bits of fruit and large nuts in. The toy arrived well packed and in great time, will buy from seller again.

Our Parrot loves these Hollee roller balls although they don't last very long as she chews through them eventually but they do keep her happy for quite a few months.
