Awesome idea that really works!
If you do your own auto maintenance and have ever tried to figure out the safest place to jack up your vehicle so you can place a jack stand where the car manufacturer indicates, you know that in most cases the place you are supposed to place the jack and the jack stands are one and the same. Enter the U Jack! It is best jack I have ever used. All you need is a jack stand with a base no larger than 8" wide to fit between the jack. You raise the vehicle, place the stand, raise to the desired height, lower the jack and you will have a perfectly placed stand. The jack is hefty, weighing in at 75 lbs, but if you work on cars and don't have a lift, you need a U Jack. I saw some reviews that complained about the speed the jack lowers, it is user error, turn the handle slowly and you can control the drop.

High quality Jack with special feature!
My 8 years olds craftsman jack is getting a bit too old and tired so I decided to get a new one. Got a recommendation on this Powerbuilt jack and wanted to give it a try. I will let you know about the pro and con, and why I love it so much. First, oh my gosh…. Amazon 1 day ship is no joke. I ordered this thing on my phone and this get dropped off at my house no later than 24 hours. YMMV but this is seriously quick shipping. The box come with the Jack is pretty standard, did a unboxing video on it so you can check it out if you want. Everything is assembled other than the handle. It's pretty much ready to use right away after you unbox it. Pro: My personal favorite about this Jack is the unique saddle design. I can put a jack stand directly below it! Might not sound like much but most modern vehicles built with unibody frame. That means the car have limited Jack point for you to lift up the vehicle. Now I can put the Jack stand right where I need it to be! Overall build quality is great, the Jack is easy to move around and the oversized handle provides good leverage. The lift height is very good. My old craftsman Jack is designed to lift SUV and this one can lift even higher than my old one. So definitely a big pro if you got a truck or big SUV. Con: Because of the unique design of the saddle the base on the Jack is wider. That mean if your car lift point is close to the tire it will be a bit harder to position the Jack under it. Not a big con for me personally but something people should know about. This is a good quality, very well made tool, meaning it's not the cheapest Jack you can find. If all you need or do is one oil change every few months then it might be better for you to just get a car ramp and save some money. Overall I do like this Jack a lot, it is a good quality tool with unique functions. I will recommended for anyone DIY on vehicle and need a great quality Jack.

Jack is great overall but is too tall to fit under a 2015 Honda Gold Wing to do rear tire changes.

It's not great for transmission removal/install
I'm not sure why this is even marketed as a transmission jack. Since anyone using this jack for transmission work will always be laying under a jacked-up vehicle, there is little/no chance the transmission will be level. This jack has NO ability to adjust the bed. Yes, it's a nice flat/level bed, but placing a 100+ lb transmission on/off the back of an engine requires a lot of maneuvering and tilting. In addition, since only the front wheels have casters, you have limited ability to pivot the jack around. And like others have said, the box used for shipping is horribly cheap and offers hardly any shipping protection.

Solid transmission jack
It allowed me to install my 4l80e easily without help or need to strap to jack . I would easily give this jack a 5 star review if not for releasing jack IT DROPS LIKE A ROCK !! NO EASY LET DOWN!! But a very strong easy to maneuver and nice big lift platform

Works as advertised
I went back and forth quite a bit before purchasing this due to the negative reviews I saw about not being able to lower the jack slowly and other quality issues. However, outside of the box mine was shipped in practically falling apart by the time it arrived, the jack works as advertised with no issues and all the parts were there. I've only used it a couple times but had no issues raising and lowering the vehicle onto the jack stands. I was able to control the descent to the stand just as I do with my other jack. Looking forward to using this again for an upcoming tire rotation.

A freaking Tank!!!
All I can say is wow! I am very impressed with this jack. At first when the jack arrived in the box at my home one of the wheels have broke threw the bottom. So I was like, well here we go the thing is damaged before I can even use it. So I opened the box and I was just like wow, this thing if a freaking tank! Believe you me that the pictures do not do this thing any justice. I just starred at it for like a few minutes in awe it was so big. So I took it out of the box to inspect for any damage and I must say that this thing is built solid. No damage to the exposed wheel what so ever. Also this jack is extremely heavy so take your time. Well I just used this jack to lift my SUV to change the oil and I must say DAMN! Not only did this jack lift the front passenger side with ease. It also lifted the rear passenger tire of the ground also,once again DAMN! I did not notice that the rear tire was off the ground until I double checked if the tire chocks where still in place which they where, but the tire was not. Now all I can say is WOW I have never owned a jack that did this at all. I am very impressed. If you are on the fence about this purchase. If you where to ask me, I will tell you to pull the trigger on this one you will not be disappointed, I surely was not. Good Luck.

Very versatile and powerful.
I would have given it a 5 star, but under heavy load - as in lifting the front of my chevy silverado for tire rotation - the release mechanism is very "touchy" and it was difficult to lower the jack slowly. Otherwise it works great. The large platform is very handy. I do recommend this item.

Works Great
Changed wheels on a Chrysler 300 yesterday, it lifted the car easily and with fewer pumps than with a smaller regular hydraulic jack that I've been using for years. Much more stable than the regular smaller ones. I didn't get to use it on my motorcycles yet,which is the reason I bought it, but should lift a Road King & Heritage Softail with ease also. The rubber pad for lifting cars/trucks ensures no marks on jack points for autos. Very pleased!!!

Almost a waste of money.
Having unpacked the jack, it was found to be twisted and on level ground it wouldn't sit squarely on its four wheels. On first use. the rubber pad on the saddle came off. it wasn't glued on securely. On second use, having removed the saddle in order to use the square frame to jack up a chassis member, the rubber pads on the square frame split into two parts and fell off. I discussed this with the guy on their stand at the NEC Classic Car Show, he wasn't interested! Further to my previous review, the jack eventually failed completely because the cogs operating the hydraulic valve failed. The good news! I took it back to the suppliers and they changed it for a different model without question.

Excellent product.
Really heavy product for very heavy duty jobs. Ones you put it down on the floor never lift it back into its box again or else you'll break your own back.
