Updated review: These are very good pants, with one caveat.
Basically, these are well-made pants. But for my personal use, I have some quibbles that may or may not affect others. For one, the waist is much larger than specified. Being 62 years old and not quite as trim in the middle as I used to be, I thought I would be happy to have a more generous waist in these pants, but the "36" is more like a 38 by actual measurement, and that's a bit TOO generous. The pants are also quite heavy in my opinion, which some guys might like, but I find them a bit too heavy for my southern climate. The khaki color is much darker than that which showed on my computer screen. HOWEVER...all the above, except for the large waistband, are personal quibbles. Again, I find that these are very well-made, quality pants. I have no way of knowing whether the extra-large waistband on my pants is the norm or just a sample error. Since Amazon has a good return policy, I have no hesitation in recommending these pants, with the caveat that you might find the waist larger than you expect. I'll be curious to read the reviews of other buyers to see their experience with the waistband.

Runs a bit big, the "slim fit" isn't really slim-fit, but...very nice pants for the price!
These were one of numerous pairs of "back to school" pants we got for our son, who is off to college in a few days. He is kind of particular about his clothes in that, despite the fact that he's got broad shoulders and a thin frame, he prefers a tailored look to baggy, ill-fitting clothing. So he opts for "slim fit" clothes. We ordered slim fit, but they were still much more baggy than he expected. They didn't look like slim fit at all. They looked like regular fit. They were kind of low in the crotch and my son wasn't crazy about how the pockets didn't lay totally flat. Those things aside, these are a great deal. They are very well made, the fabric is great, and they are stylish. So, unless you are really big on having perfectly tailored clothes, these are a solid buy for any guy who wants to look nice without a lot of effort.

Great find for a great pant!
I would give five stars for the price I received… Just about $10 for the pair, color, size we need it. Been a one time use I have zero complaints! We ordered 34x34 for a 15yr old: 6’2” 170lb prepubescent adulthood build. The waist was good as he like to wear it lower on hips.. and length was fine as well. Only snug part was through groin and top of thighs.. but, hard to find good pant to nix this issue! He doesn’t want pleated “man pant” and so, I make best attempt and a more fitted flat front.. these seem to work just that way.. with acception of the “one tight spot!” Quality is great and material thicker vs. thinner.. if you’re trying to fit a more straight, clean look- this does the trick.

My Favorite Khaki Ever!
I bought two pairs and would buy more but they're discontinued. An excellent pant - I've worn them to an outdoor wedding, to a brewpub, to work, just a great freakin' pant! They clean up great. The material is fine quality. The fit is perfect for me - a former hockey player, cyclist and weight lifter. My legs and butt are proportionately big. I'm 6'2, 225 lbs with a 36 inch waist and 32 Inch inseam. They fit perfect!

I'm reluctant to praise this item because they seem already popular and it's difficult to find them avail in my size, in almost all colors. So, make more size 33R's and I'll write down my true praise for these pants.

I love these pants!
The fit of these pants are perfect! I am a fairly muscular guy. I ride bicycles and my thighs are relatively large. I sometimes have to purchase pants one size larger in the waist to get them to fit my legs. That was not the case with these. They are roomy and comfortable. One thing that I was particularly impressed with was their wrinkle resistance. I have gone whole days and sometimes worn them twice without noticing any significant wrinkling of the fabric. These are good pants and especially so at the price.

Great casual slack that can go dressy
They're 100% cotton so be careful with them in the wash. I usually launder them in cold water and hang them up to dry. If you're fussy, you might want to touch them up with a warm iron. That being said, these pants are really comfortable and can take a lot of wear. I packed two pair of them for a two-month trip last fall (2013) and they worked out great -- I was pretty much able to go anywhere depending on the other items I wore with them. Granted, I didn't do any back country hiking or serious backpacking, but I did rather a lot of walking in a variety of settings. They also travel great on planes, trains, or buses-- because of the price and their ease of laundering, there's really no worry about getting them "roughed up." Recently I noticed one of the two pair has started to show a tiny fray at the cuff -- so I ordered another pair. The replacement pair seems identical to the previous two so I don't see any difference in quality or fit.

A good pair
Yeah, I wore these before Memorial Day. Sue me. A very good pair of pants. Fit is as expected, with the waist and inseam just right. If I had a complaint it's that they were a touch tight in the thigh area for me, but the stretch material helped mitigate that. Great with Topsiders and a polo shirt. Pockets are an appropriate size, the button is nice and sturdy, and it's cut well enough to work for guys who wear the waist/inseam. A good pair, one I'm happy to wear both at the office and on casual-type weekends.

Awesome very comfortable chill chinos
The pants are extremely comfortable to wear & move around in. The 2% Spandex makes a world of difference. Nice soft cotton material. Love the weathered deep blue color. Beautiful casual wear pants.The waist is just slightly bigger than expected, possibly because of the Spandex. The leg length measures 30.5"-31", not 32" as specified. Great, since they fit me nicely without any alterations.
