SPD? This brace not worth the trouble.
I have severe symphysis pubis disorder, and was desperate for relief during my current pregnancy. When I first put this brace on, it did seem to help stabilize my pelvis some. I could walk more comfortably, without the typical clicking and with less pain. HOWEVER... You cannot sit in this thing. In order to gain any support, it must be placed in such a position that it pinches the skin severely in order to sit down (even through clothes). If I did manage to sit in it for any length of time, it cut off circulation in my legs within a few minutes. In addition to that, the V2 supporter is quite wide, and will cause chafing unless you switch to boyshorts/boxer-type underwear. There is no back view on the product description, but there are two straps that go diagonally across your buttocks and look VERY strange through clothing. It looks similarly to wearing a bra that is two sizes too small. Also, it is very awkward to remove, especially when using the bathroom (and we all know how often you need to pee in the third trimester). Not only is the RRR-I-I-I-I-I-P!!! of the velcro embarrassing in a public restroom, you will need to unhook the crotch strap and at least one of the hip straps, then pull it up high enough and hold all straps in place in order to get your drawers down, then make sure to keep a hold on it so you don't plunk one of the straps into the toilet, THEN try to get the thing back on properly whilst trying to not fall over the toilet because you cant see anything past your belly. I find the most useful time to wear this brace is during the night, to help roll over while sleeping, which is normally very painful. SO, if I am in agony, and will be on my feet for a long time, I will wear this brace. But otherwise, it just isn't worth it.

Great for pelvic pregnancy pain
My pelvis and si join have been killing me during pregnancy. I'm on my feet for 12 hrs at work and could almost not walk anymore. This belt has significantly helped reduce the pain.

Good product if you need it!
I bought it well in advance of giving birth along with prenatal cradle (which, by the way, I think it an absolute MUST for a pregnant woman), and along with abdominal binder (which is also a must have if you want to get in shape). This product, however, I only tried to wear and wore twice. It is well made, and if you need that support, you definatly should consider buying it. In my case, I made more use of the hip brace (the V2 supporting part is detachable, which is great!), so for me, I could have simply used the regular hip brace. But even the hip brace part I used only several times. It offered good support, and was easy to adjust. So again, for those who think might need that support, it is a well made, adjustable product!

Get some boyshorts and you're all good
This is an amazing piece of equipment. I have been living somehow with vulvar varicosities for a while now and was finding it hard to stand by the end of the day. Now I can do all that I need to do! I cannot say it is flawless as I did have to purchase new underwear so that I could avoid chafing from the hip brace part and between my thighs (yes, they touch). A few days into use and it's held me up like a champ! There's definitely a learning curve on the adjustments, but once you get it set/figured out, you will be in great shape! I am also considering getting the V2 without the hip brace to see if it's a little more comfortable and so I can have one to wear while one is being washed/drying.

I developed varicose veins in my second pregnancy and was able to control them quite well in my legs with compression stockings. When I started to get these veins further "north" I didn't know what to do. Going to the bathroom, taking a shower, even standing could be almost unbearable. That is why I was willing to shell out the big bucks for this product. I could not wait for it to arrive in the mail and relieve my discomfort. Unfortunately, when it did arrive I was very disappointed. It was easy enough to put on but all I felt was more discomfort. It did not relieve the pressure at all and the velcro was so stiff that I felt like I couldn't walk comfortably. There are two velcro straps that also cut right across the butt cheeks which not only pressed on one of my veins but the sharp velcro dug in and was painful. Since the whole thing is basically just a bunch of velcro is also makes noise when you move. I have also had problems with my hips and SI joint but this thing was too uncomfortable to wear to find out if the hip brace works or not. I thought I would do anything to get rid of the discomfort of my varicose veins but it turns out the one thing I will not do is wear this terrible contraption. I returned it. I don't know if there are other products that work better but this thing is likely not going to be comfortable for any pregnant woman... and frankly I just don't think it really works.

works bet Get under shorts!
It helps a lot so I don't hurt myself anymore while I'm pregnant & gives the support I need! I would go get like tummy shorts to wear under your clothes so you can wear it on the inside of your pants though! Unless your one of the Walmart people that don't care what people think! Lol

Instant relief from SPD
Apparently I'm in between sizes on the regular V2 supporter. Medium wouldn't stay up and small was too tight. I didn't even know this existed or I would have started here. It is bulky but it's a lifesaver. If you have SPD and desperate for relief this is the way to go.

Someone has to use it
While most people may not understand this contraption, if you are looking at it for any down south female support issues, you probably would benefit from it. While during pregnancies or other situations this does not add any sex appeal, you may not be in the mood for what would appear to be the next decade anyway. Bought for my wife, uses when needed and finds it helpful with Physical Therapy to get through the last months of a long pregnancy that I am in trouble for talking her into. 4th kid better be the best yet!
