Works well for smaller areas
My carport doesn't get light from our porch light, and it can be quite a dark area at night. This light does the trick. It captures our motion as we either pull up the driveway in the car or walk into the carport. It is nice enough looking that I don't mind it being on the back wall where it can be seen. The only down side, for me, was that it has 10 small screws that hold the plate on for the batteries. Where I have the light placed, it won't get any direct water on it; however, it is outside so moisture protection is important - the design seems like it definitely will make it water resistant. Because I don't need it to be quite so water proof, I only use 6 of the 10 screws (four corners and the middle). I believe that seals it quite sufficiently, but it is still not without a bit of a hassle to switch out batteries.

Light works great!
So far it's worked great! Easy installation, motion works, and bright. This light has adjustable settings. I was relieved when it rained, to find that it still worked. I'll say this,I installed this light under the facia/roof siding so it's not directly in the pooring rain. So idk if would work great or not in heavy rain. It is sealed pretty good though where the backing is that the batteries go in. I bought this mainly until I get my other electrical light fixed, so this works just fine. This would work great indoors, hallway, stairway, anywhere..

Great Value and Quality
Purchased this light to temporarily replace a shorted out side door light. Sturdy construction yet not super heavy. I mounted it on a metal overhang using heavy duty velcro strips. Using the brightest setting and longest timer, and it works very well. Illuminates on a par with the old light. Battery compartment has ten small screws which makes replacing batteries take some time, but it has a waterproof gasket so no worries about moisture getting in there, so it's worth it. Overall very pleased.

Great backup porch light
Bought to make it safer for visitors/delivery persons to navigate the front porch. Been in place for a little over a month. For those times if we are away or forget to turn on the main porch light. Extra light when the main porch light is on is a plus. The design goes well with the theme of our entryway. The rubber seal plus screws to access the battery compartment give confidence that if unintentionally exposed to moisture, this product will likely survive.

Doesn’t work
It was difficult to install & it didn’t detect motion outdoors. I tried it at all heights. Oddly it worked indoors, but I didn’t need a motion detector indoors. I returned it.

Nice looking bright motion light
Perfect for under the eaves on our porch. Only con is you can’t set the light to come on only at night. It isn’t a problem for us.

Great look & no electrician needed
This light was exactly what we wanted. We have enclosed a carport and added an entry door. We needed a light next to the door and did not want to pay for an electrician to come out and wire it. This light is the size and style we needed for the house and it was so easy to install! We set the amount of time for it to stay on after detecting motion, along with the brightness we wanted. The light does stay on as long as it senses motion. We are very pleased with this purchase.

Features and More!
This light is loaded with features and has a good look. I am using it in our dog yard, so I can see the pup at night. The space is not well suited for solar, plus all of the solar units are ghastly ugly. The lower light feature is enough for us to see but it's not blinding, and the option to have it stay on for 2 minutes keeps you from feeling like you're in a strobe-light disco bar.

Great light so far!
We wanted something that had to be battery powered because the side of the house does not get enough sunlight for anything solar. This works great! It's been almost 3 months and we are satisfied with it so far. Some reviews mentioned they had to be closer for the motion light to turn on but we didn't have that problem. For us, the light came on when we were at least 3 feet away. Will buy again for our backyard.

Sent me a used one. Otherwise looks good and works good so far.
Seem to work fine Look good for my purposes. Ordered 2 and one came that was clearly used before. Scratches on the top of the one and scratches inside where someone had placed the batteries before. Not impressed that I bought this supposedly new but it was obviously used.

Works well
We mounted it on a wall between the back door and carport as it was dark. Lights up as soon as you walk by. Very happy with it.
