Broke one of the tips

One of the tips snapped on the first use, I guess I applied too much pressure. The pliers also has a tendency to twist cause the C ring to not actually decrease in size. I wouldn’t buy these again though because there were 4 tips I was able to use a different one to get my job done.

Decent snapring pliars

They do what they're suppose to do, build quality is decent for money. Handy to have proper tool if working on delicate stuff.

Very Cheaply Made, save your money

Save your money and look at other tools. This product is very cheaply made, the metal is like a pop can and has no strength to open the snap ring, it bent really easy and was useless. I bought another set made by Westward model WSW4YP48 . They look identical to the Irwin's, however the metal is much stronger and does not bend. Finally be warned although the product is sold by Amazon, the system will not allow a return. I reached out to Amazon and they refunded via chat message.

Great! One of them tools you need for that one rare job.

It’s true. I bought this for a specific job, fixing a Kitchen Aid mixer. Worked great, now lives in my toolbox and have not used it since. It’s just good knowing you have one though. Keep it in it’s packaging if you can, so you don’t loose all the small parts it comes with.

Terrible

Absolute trash product. Almost destroyed 2 circlips trying to get this to work. The attachments are so flimsy that they twist while you're trying to use them, which causes them to snap out of the holes in the ring, as well as slip off the tool itself, stripping the tool and the ring in the process. Stay well clear and save yourself time, money, and heartache. They've also rigged their return policy in such a way that it doesn't look like you can actually return this. Huge regret buying this.

Very tight fitting snap ring pliers

I use snap ring pliers almost daily, and these don't fit the holes properly. They are far too tight to fit properly and the spring pin that holds the tips in place has too much play, so it gives to much freedom for the pliers (especially when you have to push so hard to get them into the holes). I'm not a big fan of these pliers.
