Way over priced!

For just a hot water faucet, $400.00! If it weren't for remodeling my kitchen, I would never have bought this to replace my existing dispenser so that it would match my sink faucet. The original unit was about $400 in total.

Functional AND Beautiful AND Saves Me Money

This replaced our (really) old insinkerator 'hot only' dispenser. It is a really good match for our faucet set (Hanover line in the Price Pfister kitchen faucets). We are delighted. Use both the hot and cold features all the time. I like how the cold can stay on-- you don't actually have to hold the lever down, so this frees your hands to deal with the pitcher or bottle, etc. Of course, the hot must be held down, but that is a safety feature... the hot is REALLY hot. This product gets our day started off right with mess-free tea & coffee preparation and no waiting for the kettle. I quick-dilute and heat lots of things, quick-clean utensils and pans, so I don't need to use or wait for the dishwasher. I heat the ice cream scoop, etc. But now I have filtered drinking water by the sink, as well. It tastes good! I buy less bottled water. With this feature alone, this product has paid for itself already!

Expensive but good product

I have moved several times in a couple years and I always buy ISE instant hot water, ISE hot/cold faucet, and non-ISE 2-stage water filter. This ISE faucet is in the middle of the ones I've used. PRO: I really like that the cold water stays on if you push the lever all the way down. I like the satin nickle finish and the shape/height of the faucet. On the CON side, it's a little bulky over the sink; my previous ISEs I believe were a little leaner and less bulky. Also the angle is surprising wide between the directions that the cold and hot levers depress. Also, it's really expensive. Overall I am happy with the product though if I had a magic wand there are a few minor improvements I would make.

Great Operation and Build Quality

Rated -1 star due to pricing which in my opinion is out of control! I had a slightly different style of this dispenser at my last home and used it regularly, so we knew that when we moved we would want to get another one. It took a few years to get around to it, but finally got the unit installed and operating last week and my wife and I both love it. Very handy for little things like hot tea, instant oatmeal/grits, etc. Lots of uses that you would have needed to run the microwave for in the past to heat up water. The quality on the unit is good, but I have to say that it's a LOT of money for what you get. I don't see any reason for InSinkerator to charge $300 for a simple faucet to dispense hot water, but there aren't many other options out there with similar product lines. Other than price, I am happy with this purchase. If not for the price I would have rated 4 stars.

Indispensable dispenser

This dispenser is the fourth one we have purchased over the years. Hopefully, InSinkErator is finally getting it right. The first one had many plastic parts which eventually broke. The second was better but still did not hold up. Our last one was the best available at the time and made all of metal but still flimsy although ours lasted longer than many others according to the reviews. This model is sturdier and the working parts seem to be more solid. Because we have become addicted to using this dispenser for its convenience and saving of time we knew we could not do without it. Ironically, the price was less than for the poorer models. So far, so good.

Perfect for instant filtered hot water for iced or hot tea and filtered cold drinking water

I replaced my 11 year old still working Insinkerator because of the filtration change and difficulty and expense to find the old model. It works well to heat the water but the pressure seems higher with this model than the plain standard one I had. I’m wondering if it’s the size of the filter. The hot water spews everywhere and could be dangerous

Wouldn't have a kitchen without one

When I was in my late twenties I bought a house that had one of these in the kitchen. I had never seen one before. Well, after a month with it, I was hooked and have installed them (yes, myself) in every house I've lived in since. I bought this water dispenser for a bar sink off the master bedroom. I drink a lot of herb tea and flavored coffee mixes. I have one in the kitchen and wouldn't have a kitchen without one. Anytime a recipe calls for boiling water I just fill up my measuring cup and I'm done---no heating on the stove top or microwaving. If you are a tea tottler, you must own one of these.

Hot and cold water dispenser

I chose this product to get the convenience of instant hot and cold water. It works great! However my plumber told me that the item has a history of developing leaks and I needed to keep the warranty materials at hand. I have been using it for over a year and have not had any problems. I hope I will have good service in the future to match the first year's excellence.
