Stays up great
I've had this in my shower for over a year, I think one suction cup fell off once. It's a good size, holds 2-3 large bottles. Very convenient!

Ceramic tile - Depends on the size....
It'll never rust... This is my second one of these. I had the last one for about 4 years and it worked very well and had plenty of room to keep my stuff. However, that one crashed to the ground in the middle of the night. (scared the bejeezus outta me!) Because this thing is made of a nice, sturdy, yet brittle plastic, it didn't fare well from a 6 foot free fall onto the ceramic tile floor. Yes, I keep mine mounted that high... and it was fully loaded too. I don't blame the failure on the product because I think its good practice to un-mount every once-in-a-while anything that is held in place with suction cups. Obviously I missed a round of routine maintenance. The other thing I'll share, and no, I don't think this contributed to it's failure... Because I mount this thing on ceramic tiles which measure just over 4 inches square, I retro-fitted the suction cups by removing the two middle ones then drilled a hole directly into the center of those two holes (center mass) then plugged one of the suckers back in. Viola... It now attaches nicely and securely with 3 suckers. Without doing this it will only grab with the cups on each end. Hope this helps, please click if it does.

Good idea, didnt work in my situation
Well made but did not work in my corner shower. The laminate "tiles" are of a size that there is no way to avoid having the outer suction cups set on the fake grout seam so it can't make a seal to work. My other option was have it on one tile side and one side the textured glass shower wall. This ran into the same problem as the shower has a different size (smaller) "tile" design. I eventually purchased that "holds 10lbs" velcro looking scotch hanging stuff. It took several pieces covering the entire length of both sides to make it strong enough to hold a normal shampoo bottle and conditioner bottle without it tilting downwards. The suction cups are removable, they just slide up and wedge in place. The suction cups did stick to the flat side of the shower just not when there was a seam.

Decent
This is a nice corner soapdish with great suction except that it suctioned super hard, almost unremovable, on some surfaces and barely stuck to others. Kind of strange but it’s a nice little shelf. Suction cups fell right out if you took it off which was weird. If you have a solid surface to mount them to with the suction cups, they are very effective and it’s a nice shelf.

Good shelf, lousy suction
I'd give the shelf five stars and the suction cups zero stars...so I averaged it our to 3. This is a good shelf...crystal clear, shaped to fit a corner, and pretty solid. It cleans up well, and the way I hung it, will hold three large shampoo bottle with no sign of fail. HOWEVER the suction cups that come with it DID NOT WORK FOR ME on semi gloss ceramic tile wall. They stuck for a few seconds and popped off. I cleaned the wall three times and wiped it with alcohol. No go. So I got some clear caulk and put it evenly on the sides that stick to the walls. I taped the shelf in place till the caulk dried, then caulked the edges very lightly and smoothly. It looks awesome, holds a lot, and I'd do it again. For the price of the item, I didn't mind improving on their design. I think they should sell it with the sticky cups if they want, but in the directions, offer consumers an option of using silicone for a semi-permanent installation..

Will Never Work on 4" Tiles Shower Walls
Your first hint that this product is not going to work, is when you insert the suction cups into the slots and then flip the shelf over to mount it to your shower corner. Of course, when you turn the shelf over to try and mount it into place, all the suction cups fall on the floor. Then you realize that the suction cups will NEVER actually stick to the surface anyway if it is uneven, because of normal dips for the 1/8" grout lines of 4" tile common to many showers. Because of the shelf's fixed slots, there is no flexibility to avoid those grout lines. The suction cups will not work. You can go buy the very smallest clear plastic command hooks that will adhere to your shower tile. You should also ignore the direction to slightly tip the shelf down - this will only result in the whole shelf tipping over - should you actually desire to put anything on it. But good news ~ you can use those suction cups. After you site the command hooks to match the slots and push the shelf into place, you can use the suction cups along the top edge of the shelf (push them down as far and tightly as possible, locating them anywhere along the horizontal lip that you can to avoid the grout lines).

I am impressed!
When we first got this I kind of laughed at the suction cups because when I put them on the wall of our coach showered the outer edges did not suction on just the inner parts. But for two months it has been hanging on with some pretty large items in it and a VERY large and heavy block of pre de Provence bar of soap in it and it has not fallen off yet even with us traveling, very impressed! I gave it five stars! Don’t hesitate, it’s a good one.

Does the trick
I have a fiberglass bathtub and shower in one, with only a soap dish, built in. I bought two of these to replace two I had for 9 years. They are identical to the originals purchased at the local supermarket (they no longer carry them). However, about once every 3 weeks, the suction cups let go and they crash into the tub. It makes a scary racket. I only have a shampoo bottle and a small container of conditioner on each. I have become used to the noise they make and now know what it is that has "hit the deck". Maybe yours will stick to the surface longer than the two I got. I would not recommend more than a few small bottles or just soap and a sponge. No heavy items.

Lasted a while but broke
It was a bit tricky to get it to stick but once it did, it lasted a year or so with only occasional falls. Then became too difficult to get it to stick, and a bit hard to clean.

Poor quality control, but still seems strong enough
First of all, I will say I'm not using this in a bathroom, I'm using it to elevate the herbs in growing beyond the reach of my cats (possibly in vain, cats are crafty in their desire for destruction). I was disappointed that straight out of the box one of the suction cups is inverted, and will not function no matter how hard I try, so there's only three at with. I suspect the two lower central ones are doing most of the heavy lifting and the outer ones are for stability, and it's one of the outer ones that is broken. That being said, they've been up for a little while now, and they appear strong enough to handle five jars of herbs. They may come crashing down later, and I'll update the review of that happens, but I'm satisfied they're doing the job I intended for now. In terms of application, I used a microfibre cloth to just add a little moisture to each cup - you don't want them you wet as the water as well as helping create the vacuum can also lower the friction that they'll slip with weight on them and break the vacuum anyway. So just lightly moisten. Aside from all for suctions cups working, I wish it were three multimeters wider - I did measure before ordering, but doesn't quite fit, by literally 3mm, but that's a wish, the product itself is pretty much bang on to the dimensions given.

Huge suction cups
The tray is nice enough but the suction cups are really huge and ugly

Tray falls off and leaves the suction cups
I carefully cleaned the tiles with white Vinegar to make sure they were clean and attached to the tiles. It stuck fast, and I really thought I'd finally found one that works. But...as soon as you add something to the caddy it parts company with the suction cups and falls in the bath. The holes that the cups for into are the same size as the end of the cup and nothing at all the hold then to the tray so the minute you add anything at all the caddy tilts forwards and pulls away from them. Returning for a refund.
