Lightweight and thin wool socks

Exactly what I was looking for, lightweight and thin wool socks that can be worn comfortably in warm weather with boots

Smaller size, cheaper materials than advertised

I'm not one who typically spends $20 on a pair of socks, but sometimes you need to spend a little more to get high quality, well-fitting clothing. The Amazon description said I was getting an 82% merino wool pair of socks and I could order them in XL instead of the typical one-size fits most you see so often in retail stores. However, the packaging it arrived in clearly states that it is only 61% wool. In addition it's not a true XL, it's a M-XL which, on my XL feet, means the instep compression actually compresses the ball of my foot more than the instep. I feel a bit silly complaining about this since they're just socks, but honestly I dropped 20 bucks to get really nice socks and this is not what I ordered. UPDATE: It's disappointing that three months later the description is still wrong but I have warmed to these socks, they've stretched some and fit more comfortably now and they do keep my feet warm but not hot in the winter. I'm bumping it up to three stars.

Quality merino socks for dress

These are quality merino wool socks. They stay up as much as any below-the-calf wool socks do, which means I pull them up a couple times a day to keep them sharp looking. This color (grey, red, charcoal) looks great paired with slacks that have a hint of red or purple in them, or with grey slacks and a shirt with those colors. As with all patterned wool socks I've worn, there is slight fraying where the colors change. This happens with my smartwool argyle socks also, but is much worse with them than with this brand. I am very happy with the look and wear of them so far (4 months or regular wear). Things to note: - Slight fraying, so if you need your socks to look streamlined and perfect, these aren't for you. - Great color and the stripes do not detract at all, in my opinion. - Comfortable - Below the calf so they won't stay up all day without a little adjusting.

I buy them for breathability in my dress shoes. they are pricey but are quite nice. for some reason my foot slips all over the place in my shoes with these socks though, and not with my other fancy brand black merino wool socks.

Comfortable and sharp

These socks are very sharp looking--jet black and smooth. Goes well with most footwear. The compression is just right to keep feet feeling toasty and embraced. However, I wouldn't wear these in warm weather. Wish they were just a bit longer--I'm a size 9.5 wearing an M size sock.

great winter socks

well made and feel great on your feet, nothing like itchy wool socks. They also retain there shape, color etc. after washing...Well worth the cost...

Lebenslange Garantie auf Socken. Super Sache!

Tolle Socken. Musste zwar schon auf die Garantie zurückgreifen, weil sie ein Loch bekommen haben. Das ging aber ohne Probleme. Die Socken fühlen sich sehr angenehm an und sitzen perfekt.

Qualität ist sehr gut und passt einwandfrei. Aber auch hier, 2 Sterne ziehe ich ab weil die Produktinformation mit der Produktbeschreibung nicht passt. Wie bei den Icebreaker Damensocken. Unterschiedliche Beschreigung der Zusammensetzung. Das ist für den Kunden irreführend. Ich habe mich an der Produktbeschreibung orientiert. Dort steht 82% Wolle (Merinowolle), 15% Nylon, 3% Elasthan. In der Produktinformation 58% Wolle, 40% Polyamid, 2% Elastan. Und nun das verwirrende. Auf der Verpackung steht 61% Wolle, 37 Nylon, 2% Elastan. Deshalb - 2 Sterne. Amazon ich bitte um Stellungnahme.

Merino Socken in gewohnt guter Icebreaker Qualität

Pünktliche Lieferung, Artikel wie beschrieben geliefert, was will man mehr. Der erste Eindruck ist volkommen in Ordnung, guter Tragekomfort, Preislich nicht ganz billig, wenn man aber mit ganz normale Socken Vergleicht, geht der Preis i.O.
