Keeps your batter, pudding and mousse in your bowl and not on the wall or counter!
Saves my countertops from being covered in whipped cream and other desserts. My husband looked at this when I took it out of the box and gave me a look that said "Great, one more kitchen item that we don't need". But he's wrong. I bought this after making pudding and even with mixing the pudding in the sink, it still ended up all over the countertop and walls. I used this to make mousse and I saw 3 tiny drops of mousse on the countertop. The guard is too big to use easily in my sink, but I didn't have to put the bowl in the sink. Those 3 tiny drops were with having the bowl on the countertop, telling me what a great job this did. I tossed it in the Bosch dishwasher on Sanitize (hot water, but no heater for drying items) and it came out perfect. That's a nice plus. I highly recommend this product to those who use a hand mixer. As other reviewers found out, this isn't designed for the big mixers, just the hand ones.

Will not work on a KitchenAid stand mixer
The concept of this splatter guard is very good. However, I have a KitchenAid stand mixer and it will not work on that - too large in diameter to fit and also, the beater assembly on a KitchenAid rotates while in use. Be sure to check clearance between your bowl and mixer stand before purchasing for a stand mixer and that your beater assembly (where the beaters go into your mixer) does not rotate.

Works well
I wanted something I could use while whipping cream so I wouldn't get it all over my kitchen. This little splatter screen works great.

BUYERS BEWARE
This is PLASTIC NOT silicone .It is all warped like. does NOT lie flat.. Terrible.... I found a real nice one at My local grocery store . 100% Silicone and with a nice weighted rim around it for $2.49. Yes that's Right! I am not going to return this though as it would cost me more shipping. not worth it. Just terrible.. what a waste of money.

great product!
I've wanted this type of product for some time but couldn't find it until I checked again on Amazon. I'd always made such a big mess when whipping cream and this solves the problem. It also fits on my larger mixer so it's great for both!

Must have if you have a stick blender!
The splatter guard is perfect to use with a hand blender. Big enough to cover even the biggest soup pan and the design allows easy movement of the blender to evenly blend. I love it!

Very handy
This is great. I had one years ago and was thrilled to find this one. The only down side was I saw the exact one in a Dollar Store a few weeks later. I'm still pleased because I got what I wanted but the thrifty side of me was a little disappointed.

Not worth the money ????????
Not impressed at all. The device is more of a nuisance as the centre hole area is very stiff and doesn’t allow the beaters to move within the bowl.
