not too secure

i got this to protect a reed or two in a pocket or bag. it will do this as long as you put two reeds in to keep tension on them...but it doesnt have enough grip to hold onto just one. i did not try carrying it alone on a hat or a strap, but i assume that if you keep two reeds on it you will be happy.

Only issue is the cost

Seem to hold calls and hats well. Great idea. Probably could use a paper clip as effectively though, so the cost seems steep for what they are. A multi pack at this price would be worth the investment though

These work, but could be a lot better

I used two of these during my recent elk hunt. They work to hold calls, but the calls are not very secure and it's harder than it should be to put them in the holder. The problem with the design is that it holds the call around the edge, and after using the call the edge gets soft and deforms as you place it into the holder. I had to stop walking and focus one eye on the brim of my hat as I placed the call carefully in the holder. Even then I often had to remove my hat and look to make sure all the edges were held securely. Once that was done, it was still easy to brush against it and knock the call out of the holder. You can make it work, but I think there are better designs available.

Definitely a good product

Great product, does what you expect. However, i do wish there was a way to tighten it a little bit more on the bill cap as I have knocked it off a few times when putting my gunsling over my head.

Good not great

It’s not the worst $6 I’ve ever spent.......I love the idea of these clips but unfortunately they do not hold calls with any level of security. I use them as a quick way to access and store mouth calls when I’m stationary. I would not suggest leaving calls in them when moving around as they easily fall out. The call seems to have to sit in just right which makes it hard for me to use this clipped to my hat. I keep it on my chest pouch, works well on there

pretty slick product

This call clip seems pretty cool. I haven't had a chance to hunt with it yet but did put it on my hat to test it and it seems to work fine. There are two in a pack.

Doesn’t hold single call

I quit using it after first hunt as my call continuously fell out. Thankfully I noticed two of the times and on third I only found my call by backtracking
