I used it while camping and it literally snapped after 5min. Not the rope but the metal caliper

Nice bow rope

It isn’t name brand but this thing is easily seen on the walks into the stand in the dark. This bow rope is nice and the clip on it is easily used. I wouldn’t recommend it only if you were using it at a spot that you didn’t want people knowing where your at if you catch my drift haha

Exactly what you need for your tree stand - highly reflective, easy to see & plenty strong

This is exactly what you need to find your tree stand in the pitch dark of early morning. The strands are highly reflective straight back at the light source (so you see it light up, but it doesn't spook wildlife). Makes it easy to see in the dark and the carabiners are plenty strong to carry a rifle/shotgun/bow and your bag at the same time. It's basically the diameter of paracord so easy to handle. I swing mine around the tree and clip it to itself, so it never blows in the wind and never gets tangled. Being 30 feet long, you can easily girth hitch the middle to your tree stand (up to 20 feet high) and it leaves the 2 carabiners hanging nicely around 5 feet off the ground - that way you can load both ends up, climb up, and pull up your bag or rifle separately if you want. When you leave, wrap the ends around the tree and connect the carabiners to eachother and they never tangle. Definitely something I will put on every tree stand. Not sure why someone said rope tangles - any rope left dangling in the wind from a tree stand will tangle if you don't attach it to something - and the carabiners are plenty strong unless you are planning on hauling a 300# person up into the tree with you. For under $8 it can't be beat.

Perfect for the purpose

I intended to use it as a drying rope on the deck for drying clothes. Perfect length when folded double, strong enough to hold the weight when adding a support in the midpoint. For the price, it is a good purchase.

Good quality hoisting rope, I like the fact that its reflective. It really help spot your tree stand much easier on the walk in before the woods awake!

Fraying from the start

Wasn't impressed that it came with a section that was fraying right from the start and had to cut about a foot off it but was good for hanging my bear bag.
