Not Very Sturdy, Looks Good

It’s not very structural but it looks great. Added a few extra screws here and there and now it’s super structurally sound. Pretty good for the price!

Nice bar stool

I purchased 2 and then a 3rd. all are great, well made, attractive and very comfortable. Nice price.

Falling a part underneath!

The quality of these stools is terrible! My young kids sit here (all weigh less than 60 lb) and they made an awful cracking sound the first time they sat down. Notice the whole bottom is falling apart!!! Do not buy these stools! We have had for less than three months and they are completely falling apart. I can’t believe the company would want their name to have this poor of quality being sent to customers!!!

Great stool and great company

This stool was very easy to put together and is very sturdy. My husband says that it is very comfortable. This is the second time we have ordered from Hillsdale Furniture. The first time one of the seats had a problem. We contacted customer service and they immediately sent us a replacement seat (free shipping). I can trust a company that stands behind their product.

Attractive, but sub-par construction

These are OK. They look nice and would go with a wide variety of decor, from rustic to modern. However, they are always making creaking and cracking sounds. And all of the seats feel loose, like you are easily able to sway side to side in them. We are not a big family either, nobody is over 200 lbs. We kept them because they are a decent price point and they look nice. But I am anticipating a lot of gorilla glue needed to make these last.

Great Furniture

I was amazed at the quality and value of these stools. Time will tell but they seem super sturdy. Easy to assemble. All in all a great purchase.

These are absolutely gorgeous. The fabric is so much softer than I anticipated, and my 13 year old was able to assemble them in a few hours (I bought 3). The only complaint was that the final screws were kind of difficult as we had to actually go through the wood to properly install them, the lead holes were not all the way through. That's probably for the best though, since that means there would be no issues with them potentially being too big and therefore not sturdy.

Overall, happy with purchase

These barstools are as they appear in the picture. Nice colour. The cushion is comfortable. My only negative on them is that they are a bit wobbly. I easily assembled them as per the instructions provided and have tighten everything, but there is still a slight wobble. It isn't too bad right now, but I worry that they will become more so as they age.

Received someone’s return

Stools are as described and good quality for the cheap price. Reason for the low rating is receiving someone else’s return that was damaged. Ordered 2 stools, one of them was one that had been returned by someone else and was damaged. There were no instructions or Allen key tool. It came with 3x the hardware not in proper packaging and had protection on the bottom in the legs. (I’m assuming someone had used them for an event)
