Great Floor Screw

I used these to screw into my sub flooring to stop squeaks before new carpet was installed. They worked great. The square head slot works very well & does not slip or strip out.

Greatest Invention Ever

Square head Roberson screws are the greatest thing ever. It's amazing how we put up with Phillips that strip all the time. And that there are 15 different types of Phillips so if you're not using the exact correct bit it's going to strip when it gets tight. Dumb! Square drive screws never strip. They just don't. It's a miracle of science from over 100 years ago. More recent inventions like Torx and others just try to make money off something that was perfected a long long time ago. Thank you Mr Robertson for your great invention. The best thing about these when building a deck is that they don't strip coming out either. You can actually disassemble the boards years later. Good luck doing that with Phillips.

Time Saver

Square head works great. I use them to renew my deck boards. Installed over 900 screws and didn't break or bend any. Helps to pre-drill holes and apply them as straight as you can. When you have to toe-nail one they will try to slip off your driver but, keep pressure all the way in. Would recommend highly after fighting with my old Philips head screws.

Square head

I don’t want to say too much positive because I don’t want them to run out. I love the square heads and can’t find them anywhere in town. These are very affordable.

works well with an impact driver, able to drill into wood without a pilot hole. Of course, you need a square bit

this product is unsafe

I purchased these screws in the spring of 2016 for decking boards on my deck. I am making some changes to my deck and need to pull up those decking boards...my deck is 8 x 10 with decking laid out every 2 feet. The first three boards and 7 screws were sheared off about 1 inch down!!! This has to be a terrible and dangerous product. I will never order from The Hillman Group again!!!

Price is right.

This is a quality screw for the price. In 700 screws, none broke or stripped, and there was only one screw that did not have the square drive.

Great screws for many projects

Theses flathead screws with the cube designed insert never strip like regular screws. I have used them on every project around the yard. The box comes with the drill bit .
