Good raincoat so far

I like that it is both warm and waterproof. I was in a two-day downpour of freezing rain (35 degrees) and it kept me warm and mostly dry. I had on a wool sweater, vest and warm leggings underneath. So..not sure how this would stand up in super cold weather, but it worked for me here in the south where it doesn’t really get that cold that often. The hood (non-removable, but you could stuff it back into its zip neck pouch which might be bulky) worked well to keep off rain and wind. It is not exactly a fashion item, but this trench style looks better than your average raincoat. My only complaint is the buckle-less tie belt keeps slipping out of its belt loops and could easily come off completely and get lost if you are not super careful. In a very good trench coat (like Burberry), this belt would be sewn down and have a buckle. All in all it’s a good raincoat so far. We will see if it lasts! I got the medium because I have pretty broad shoulders.

A “city slicker”???? with style,class and function✅

This coat is perfect for heavy rain and sleet even. Tried it today walking my dog. The arms don’t have the quilted warmer stuff inside them but with the right shirt it would solve that on a colder day. The center zipper is perfect with the snaps and the zipper pockets so my keys and phone stay put and the zippers are not sharp and have enough room to get my hands in and out without getting caught. The hood is really cut well to stay on and be able to see without being floppy and blowing off. It has nice style and the belt/trench coat elevates it much more than a “practical” gear outdoor jacket for a hike. Seems like it is easily a three season coat for the Northeast (might be too warm for Summer with the lining). The HH a logo on the black one is black and hardly noticeable. With skinny jeans and leggings, a pencil skirt or dress this works and looks like a classic trench. This coat can go from dog walking to the office or on a hike if you wish. It folds up small for travel too and isn’t bulky and doesn’t make noise that some “waterproof” coats do. It has a lot of class and style and great function. This coat is a city slicker ✅????. Very, very pleased.

Excellent insulated water repellent cost

I wore this coat to Denmark, and got caught in a serious downpour. Coat was water repellent and warm.. The only improvement I can think of would be the sleeves, which are regular sleeves without any kind of elastic in the sleeves. So when I raised my arm, water got in it.

Stylish but runs big

I really like this jacket. It is stylish, has a little insulation, and feels good to the touch. There is however no internal pocket for phone or wallet, which would be nice to have. I would really like to keep it, but it hangs too big on me. I finally decided I should return it. If you are a petite size, this is not a good fit (I ordered XS).

Quality Control

Cute jacket, but not the quality I’ve come to expect from HH (wondering if it’s a knock-off?) Right pocket had a large hole in it. Chose to sew it rather than return because the rest of the jacket seemed fine. Then the loop that it hangs from came unstitched after a few uses. Minor, but disappointing I bought this to replace a HH trench that I’ve worn for a decade. The quality doesn’t come close.

Great for Late Winter/ early Spring

This coat is perfect for in between weather of around 0 degrees Celsius. I needed something that worked for business trips that was stylish but could also work dresses up or dressed down. My only wish is that it didn’t have the HH logo on the sleeve.

Medium weight jacket

Very waterproof, fastenings and hood are great. I'd say a spring jacket as has filling but not enough to keep Jack frost at bay. Smart also.

Excellent quality as always

Very well made and very practical. For size 12-14 I chose size L and it's a perfect fit. Padding not too thick so easy to move and keeps you warm. Have worn HH coats/jackets for many years now and will never buy anything else as these last forever and ever!

Great stylish coat

Great coat for rain and wind. Lightly padded (looks incredibly thin) but keeps you very warm in coldish weather (8-10 deg C). Not tested on colder temperatures yet. True to size. I tested it under multiple windy showers and it passed the test with no flaws. The hood is well designed to shield you from the elements yet giving you good visibility. The zipped (good sized) pockets add comfort. Nice length and style - looks great with jeans & trainers as well as skirt & tights.
