2023 runs smaller than same jacket, size, and color bought in 2020

Buy one size up, it's a full size or more smaller than previous models. Bought medium in 2020, great super lightweight fleece, kept me warm during cooler mornings and evenings in the spring and fall, and great layering under waterproof Helly Hansen raincoat. Ran a little loose but perfect as a jacket to layer underneath. Love the polartec fabric, warm, semi windproof, no pilling, and the style is very complimentary in shape to fit a female form. Ordered new ones in black and navy to replace my well loved old jackets and these are almost 1 to 2 sizes smaller in comparison. It fits like XS or SM.

wonderful everyday product

This is the best travel jacket to have along. It is warm when needed since it keeps the temps and wind out. The jacket is not bulky and fits easily into a back pack or suitcase. When washed, it dries quickly. The zipper is sturdy, good quality but not bulky. Although the item is designed as a sports garment, the tailored look makes it look elegant and makes it suitable to be worn almost anywhere. Helly Hansen as usual, does not disappoint!! *****

Finally figured out the sizing!

Was a little confused at first what size to order based on many reviewers saying the fleece was too small or way too small, but others saying fit was just right. I normally wear a Small and wanted a snug-fitting fleece so I ordered my regular size, Small. This is a really nice, sporty-like fit with long and generous sleeves that cover my wrists, plenty of zipper length on the front pockets and good length on the body so I am covered down to the hip. It is simple and clean. The only thing I don't like is the extra fabric chin guard sewn in at the top of the front zipper. For me it makes a "blob" on one side of the zipper that I find lopsided and distracting. I took one star off for that. The Small was super snug fitting. I could zip it up but it was tight and stretchy like skin-tight exercise clothing -- so too tight for daytime wear. You could fit an undergarment underneath but all the bulges show. I sized up to a Medium, which fit body-conscious but was not tight. This was a perfect fit for me and I can wear the fleece over a short or long sleeve shirt as a great mid-layer. This fleece is super warm and stretchy. If I had gone up two sizes, I'm pretty sure the fleece would have fit like a jacket, with a lot more room underneath for more layering, but I wanted the snugger fit. Hopefully that helps someone trying to figure out their size.

Perfect! breathable! Fits!

I searched and searched for this type of jacket. It is perfect. It is lightweight Polartec and it breathes so I don’t sweat but I’m still warm. The sleeves are fitted but not too tight. It has lots of pockets- most are zippered. I wear this all the time in the fall and winter. it’s something I can wear outdoors as well as inside and still stay comfortably warm without sweating. I hope they continue to make this jacket. It’s the perfect weight and fits well. I am 5’4” and 114 pounds. I typically wear small to medium tops- the medium fits me well with enough room for a shirt(s) underneath.

Insanely small

Me: I wear a size 12 bottom and a Large in a top. I generally wear I.N.C and JM clothing. I read reviews and I looked at the HH size chart. I ordered a 2x, yes a 2x and it was too small!! What in the world. I knew to order up one because you want a tight fit so air isn’t getting in but this was a bit silly. I also ordered the jacket as “ Used-Like New” which I order a lot that way. It came covered in animal hair. UGH. I have dogs but like new should not have hair on it. This could be problematic for someone with an allergy. Item is being returned due mainly to size, a lint roller and a wash would fix the other issue. This jacket’s shape is best suited for more slim and straight bodies. It doesn’t have a curve cut to it al all. Nice looking and simple non intrusive logo and good true to description color.

Fits well

That’s one thing Helly-Hanson knows how to do and that’s create clothes that fit in the chest, under arm and arm length correctly. It’s very staticky here in houses in Minnesota so hair and lint stick but good thing it comes off easily with sticky roller. This fleece does not ball up. You get what you pay for with this zippered fleece cardigan. It was soooo cold here outdoors this winter that this fleece was the PERFECT antidote either under my ski jackets or my car coat to keep warm. Thank you!

Sizing runs small

Was really looking forward to this fleece. Too small. It's a fitted, stretch. I'm not even sure if you sized up, that it would be a true fleece fit. Would go great as a base layer.

Quality fleece top

I have bought this stylish navy fleece for walking my children to school as a quick throw over top. I like the length as I’m tall and I was worried it will come up short in length but it covers the bum so it didn’t disappoint. The colour and logo exactly as on picture. My only criticism perhaps the thin netted pockets which I’m not very keen on but I can live with that. Overall the top is of quality and the material have a nice feel to it. Would recommend and would buy again.

Summer fleece, avoid in winter

I wear this on top of my base layer and under my JW waterproof jacket , in summer it was great, but in colder temperatures I don’t feel like it contributes to much compared to other fleeces I have. It’s thin, and really doesn’t keep me warm.
