Perfect for my project
These letters were perfect for my project of personalizing Christmas ornaments for my grandchildren. They didn't stick solid for a few seconds so I could move them around if placement wasn't perfect.

Item folded in half for shipment
Item was folded in half in the amazon pouch, which I don't understand because it can fit in there without folding. A bunch of the letters got bent and came unstuck from the sheet. Good product other than how it was shipped.

Nice
Easy to pull off the sheet and place with a jewelers screwdriver, or x-acto knife. They were cut clean through so they weren't stuck to the surrounding sheet. I got a couple on crooked so I pealed them off and reset them.

So far so good
I bought these to replace the worn off letters off of my computer keyboard. They are just the right size. I don't know how long they will last, but thankfully I have so many letters that I can replace them several times if need be. I applied to my keyboard keys and also put a clear coat of nail polish to seal them on there. We will see how long they last!

USED ON LEATHERETTE CHESS BOARD WORKED OUT JUST FINE
I am very pleased with both the 1/2 inch and 1/4 inch letters and numbers for my application. They may come off in time, but I doubt it. If they do come off, I have plenty left over. I recommend them for non porous and no flexing applications.

Excellent product!!!
Excellent product, especially considering how reasonably priced it is. I do not pull off the vinyl around the letters first. I use the tip of an exacto knife to Just get under the letters and lift the letters off as I go. They come off nicely with no struggle, stretching, or tearing. I understand what other reviewers are saying about the die cut lines not being 100% cut, it’s like 90%. But with using the exacto knife as I outlined I have had zero issues. For placement, I hold the letter by the exacto knife tip and place them on my photo matt. Very easy to place. You can lift and re-apply or wiggle into alignment without damage to a photo matt. Then I firmly press down/rub to make sure they stay in place. I was so worried that the letter work for my project was going to be so difficult and tedious, but it has been a breeze and I’ve really enjoyed doing the lettering part. Very relaxing.

Need more of commonly used letters
I buy many of these stickers as I use this size often for my business. About 30% of the letters get wasted simply because they come off when I peel off backing. Another 30% gets wasted because I don't use those letters/symbols. Not sure why they only have 15x 'R' and 37x 'U'. Please add more 'R''s and less uncommon letters like U.

good quality
Nice robust lettering 1/4" size. I was concerned that they might break while trying to apply them but they worked great. I used them to put labels on the controlsof a guitar amlifier that I built. (Volume, treble bass etc.) The adhesion was great. They could be manipulated after application. A couple of clear coats and they were permanent.

contains harmful chemicals - not disclosed at onset
was not satisfied with this purchase given that there was not full disclosure in the product description. upon receiving the item, i noticed a warning label on the front describing a california proposition 65 warning that the product is known to contain hazardous cancer causing chemicals (i'm assuming PVC and/or other) and to use at own risk. i have been hesitant to use the product as a result and was not happy that i was not informed of this warning beforehand. product seems fine but does give off a certain smell so i'm assuming it is not good for indoor air quality. in my mind this type of product is probably better for outdoor use so if that's your purpose then it's probably fine. anyway, the seller and amazon should update the description to be completely transparent especially when it comes to consumer safety.

Multi use
Bought these for numbering on some electronic equipment and then my wife "borrowed" them and now everything in the kitchen has new labels. They are very adhesive and hold up very well in moisture. Recommend for general use for any labelling you need to do. Fast delivery.
